To learn wisdom and moral instruction, to discern wise counsel.

Listen, my child, to the instruction from your father, and do not forsake the teaching from your mother.

Admonition to Follow Righteousness and Avoid Wickedness Listen, children, to a father’s instruction, and pay attention so that you may gain discernment.

The Lord Gives an Invitation“Hey, all who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come! Buy and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk without money and without cost!

But not all have obeyed the good news, for Isaiah says,“Lord, who has believed our report?”
