TSK · Psalms 116:3

The waves of death engulfed me, the currents of chaos overwhelmed me.

When I refused to confess my sin, my whole body wasted away, while I groaned in pain all day long.

You place me in the lowest regions of the Pit, in the dark places, in the watery depths.

and said,“I called out to the LORD from my distress, and he answered me; from the belly of Sheol I cried out for help, and you heard my prayer.

And in his anguish he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.]
