TSK · Romans 12:19

You must not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people, but you must love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

Cry out, O nations, with his people, for he will avenge his servants’ blood; he will take vengeance against his enemies, and make atonement for his land and people.

Praised be your good judgment! May you yourself be rewarded for having prevented me this day from shedding blood and taking matters into my own hands!

Do not say,“I will pay back evil!” Wait for the LORD, so that he may vindicate you.

Do not say,“I will do to him just as he has done to me; I will pay him back according to what he has done.”

God Takes Vengeance against His Enemies The LORD is a zealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and very angry. The LORD takes vengeance against his foes; he sustains his rage against his enemies.

“But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse.

because it is God’s servant for your well-being. But be afraid if you do wrong because government does not bear the sword for nothing. It is God’s servant to administer punishment on the person who does wrong.

For we know the one who said,“Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” and again,“The Lord will judge his people.”
