Having suffered, he will reflect on his work, he will be satisfied when he understands what he has done.“My servant will acquit many, for he carried their sins.

Many of those who sleep in the dusty ground will awake– some to everlasting life, and others to shame and everlasting abhorrence.

for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, that is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus answered her,“If you had known the gift of God and who it is who said to you,‘Give me some water to drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

The Amplification of Justification So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned–

For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God;

and he himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

So I said to him,“My lord, you know the answer.” Then he said to me,“These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!
