TSK · Isaiah 48:12

"See now that I, even I, am he, There is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.

"Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.

Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Yahweh, the first, and with the last, I am he."

Yet listen now, Jacob my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen.

"Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been borne [by me] from their birth, that have been carried from the womb;

"Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh: look to the rock you were cut from, and to the hold of the pit you were dug from.

"Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; don't fear the reproach of men, neither be dismayed at their insults.

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen."

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

saying, "What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

"To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: "The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
