On this day, we celebrate the commemoration of the pure, virgin, intelligent Lady, the Virgin Mary, Mother of God the Word, the merciful Mother of mercy. May her compassionate intercession be with us. Amen.
The Entry of the Savior into Bethany
On this day, we celebrate the commemoration of the presence of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ with His disciples in Bethany near Jerusalem, where Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead, was reclining with Him. His sister Martha served the gathered assembly, and Mary anointed the feet of Christ with perfume and wiped them with her hair, for which the Lord praised her. He also indicated His death by saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified" (John 12:1-8).
The Plot of the Chief Priests to Kill Lazarus the Friend Whom the Lord Raised
On this day, the chief priests conspired to kill Lazarus the friend whom Christ raised from the dead, because many believed in our Lord Jesus Christ due to this great miracle. To Him be glory forever. Amen.
The Departure of Anba Phreej
On this day is the commemoration of the departure of Anba Phreej (Anba Rois). May his prayer be with us, and to our Lord be glory forever and ever. Amen.
