PSALM 50

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your great mercy; and according to the multitude of Your compassions blot out my iniquity. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I am conscious of my iniquity; and my sin is at all times before me.

Against You only I have sinned, and done evil before You: that You might be just in Your sayings, and might overcome when You are judged. For, behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins my mother conceived me.

For, behold, You have loved the truth: You have manifested to me the hidden and unrevealed things of Your wisdom. You shall sprinkle me with Your hyssop, and I shall be purified: You shall wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow. You shall make me to hear gladness and joy: the humbled bones shall rejoice.

Turn away Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit in my inward parts. Do not cast me away from Your face; and do not remove Your Holy Spirit from me. Give me the joy of Your salvation: and uphold me with a directing spirit. Then I shall teach the transgressors Your ways; and the ungodly men shall turn to You.

Deliver me from blood, O God, the God of my salvation: and my tongue shall rejoice in Your righteousness. O Lord, You shall open my lips; and my mouth shall declare Your praise. For if You desired sacrifice, I would have given it: You do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. The sacrifice of God is a broken spirit: a broken and humbled heart God shall not despise.

Do good, O Lord, in Your good pleasure to Zion; and let the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then You shall be pleased with sacrifices of righteousness, offering, and burnt sacrifices: then they shall offer calves upon Your altar. ALLELUIA.

Then the worshipper says :

Arise, you, O children of the light, to praise the Lord of Hosts, that He may grant us the salvation of our souls. When we stand in the flesh before You, take away from our minds the sleep of forgetfulness, and grant us alertness, in order that we understand how to stand up before You at the time of prayer, and send up to You the appropriate doxology, and win the forgiveness of our many sins.

Ku tashi, ya 'ya'yan haske, mu rera wa Ubangijin rundunoni, domin Ya ni'imtar da mu da ceton rayukanmu. Lokacin da muke tsaye a gabanka da jiki, ka kawar da barcin sakaci daga zukatanmu. Ka ba mu, ya Ubangiji, farkawa, domin mu fahimci yadda za mu tsaya a gabanka a lokacin addu'a, mu aika maka zuwa sama daidai da yabon da ya dace, mu kuma sami gafarar zunubanmu masu yawa. Ku albarkaci Ubangiji, ya bayin Ubangiji, masu tsayuwa a gidan Ubangiji, a cikin ƙasakuwan Allahnmu. A cikin dare ku ɗaga hannuwanku zuwa tsarki, ku albarkaci Ubangiji. Ubangiji yă albarkace ku daga Sihiyona, wanda ya halicci sama da ƙasa. (Yabo ya tabbata gare Ka, ya Mai ƙaunar mutane)

Lebɓaina za su zubo da yabo idan Ka koya mini hukuncinka. Harshena zai faɗi maganarka, domin dukan umarninka adalai ne. Bari hannunka yă zama domin cetona, domin na yi marmarin umarninka. Na yi marmarin cetonka, ya Ubangiji, kuma dokarka ita ce karatuna. Rai na yă rayu yă yabe Ka, kuma hukuncinka suna taimaka mini. Na ɓace kamar ɗan rago da ya ɓace; ka nemi bawanka, domin ban manta da umarninka ba.

Yabo ya tabbata ga Uba da Ɗa da Ruhu Mai Tsarki, yanzu da kowane lokaci, har zuwa zamanin zamanai. Amin. Yabo ya tabbata ga Uba da Ɗa da Ruhu Mai Tsarki, tun yanzu har abadan duka. Amin. Bari Allah ya tashi, ya watse dukan abokan gābansa, kuma su gudu daga gaban fuskarsa dukan masu ƙin sunansa mai tsarki. Amma jama'arka su zama da albarka, dubban dubbai da dubbai masu yawa, suna aikata nufinka. Ya Ubangiji, ka buɗe lebɓana, bakina yă furta yabonka. Amin. Alleluia.

PSALM 3

O Lord, why have they who afflict me multiplied? Many have risen up upon me. Many say unto my soul, “There is no salvation for him in his God.” But You, O Lord, are my supporter, my glory, and the elevation of my head.

With my voice I cried unto the Lord, and He heard me out of His holy mountain. I laid down and slept; and I arose; for the Lord is He who supports me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, who surround me; who have risen upon me. Rise, O Lord, save me, O my God: for You have smitten all who are enemies to me without cause. The teeth of the sinners You have broken. Salvation is the Lord's, and His blessing is upon His people. ALLELUIA.

PSALM 12

How long, O Lord, do You forget me, for ever? How long do You turn Your face away from me? How long do I put these counsels in my soul, and these sorrows in my heart for the whole day? How long does my enemy exalt over me?

Look, hearken to me, O Lord my God: enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep in death; lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him”: those who distress me will rejoice if ever I stumble. But I have hoped in Your mercy; my heart will rejoice in Your salvation. I will praise the Lord Who has done good to me, and I will sing to the name of the Lord Most High. ALLELUIA.

PSALM 69

O God, be mindful of my help: make haste, O Lord, to help me. Let them be ashamed and be scorned, those who seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, those who wish to do evil unto me. Let those who say to me, “Aha, aha,” be turned back in shame immediately. Let all who seek You exult and be glad in You: and let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified.” But I am poor and weak; O God, help me: You are my Helper and Savior, O Lord, do not delay. Incline Your ear, O Lord, and hear me; for I am poor and weak. Preserve my soul, for I am pure; save Your servant, O my God, who hopes in You. Look down upon me, and have mercy on me: give strength to Your servant, and save the son of Your handmaid. PSALM 90

He who dwells in the help of the Most High, shall rest under the shelter of the God of heaven. He shall say to the Lord, “You are my defender and my refuge: my God; I will hope in Him.” For He shall deliver you from the snare of the hunter, and from troublesome matter. He shall overshadow you in the midst of His shoulders, and you shall hope under His wings: His truth shall encompass you as a shield. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night; nor of an arrow flying in the day; nor of a matter walking in darkness; nor of calamity and demon of noon‑day. A thou­sand shall fall at your left hand, and ten thousand at your right hand; but they shall not be able to come near you. Only with your eyes shall you observe, and see the reward of sinners.

For You, O Lord, are my hope: You have made the Most High your refuge. No evil things shall come upon you, and no plague shall draw near to your dwelling. For He shall give his angels charge concerning you, to keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you stumble Your foot against a stone. You shall tread on the serpent and basilisk: and You shall tram­ple on the lion and dragon.

For he has hoped in Me, and I shall deliver him: I shall protect him, because he has known My name. He shall beseech me, and I shall hear him: I am with him in affliction; and I shall deliver him, and glorify him. I shall satisfy him with length of days, and show him My salvation. ALLELUIA.

PSALM 116

PSALM 117

Give thanks to the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endures forever. Let now the house of Israel say that He is good: for His mercy endures forever. Let the house of Aaron say that He is good: for His mercy endures forever. Let now all who fear the Lord say that He is good: for His mercy endures forever.

I called on the Lord in my affliction: and He answered me, and brought me into a broad place. The Lord is my helper; and I shall not fear what man will do to me. The Lord is my helper; and I shall look down upon my own enemies. It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.

All the nations surrounded me: and in the name of the Lord I drove them away. They surrounded me and went around me: and in the name of the Lord I drove them away. They surrounded me as bees around a honeycomb, and they burst as fire among thorns: and in the name of the Lord I drove them away. I was pushed, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me. The voice of exultation and salvation is in the dwellings of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily. The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully. I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord. With chastisement the Lord has chastened me: and has not given me up to death.

Open to me the gates of righteousness: that I will go into them, and praise the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it. I will praise You, O Lord, because You have answered me, and have become unto me a salvation. The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner. This has been done by the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.

This is the day which the Lord has made: let us rejoice and be glad in it. O Lord, save us: O Lord, ease our ways. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you from the house of the Lord. God the Lord has shined upon us: ordain a feast with those that reach the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I will give thanks to You: You are my God, and I will exalt You. I will give thanks to You, O Lord, for You have heard me, and have become unto me a salvation. PSALM 118 (I)

Blessed are the blameless in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they who search out His testimonies: seeking Him with their whole heart. For they who work iniquity have not desired to walk in His ways. You have commanded that Your commandments be diligently kept. O that my ways were directed to keep Your ordinances! Then I shall not be ashamed, when I look on all Your commandments. I will give thanks to You, O Lord, with uprightness of my heart, when I have learned the judgments of Your righteousness. I will keep Your ordinances: do not exceedingly forsake me!

(1) طوباهم الذين بلا عيب في الطريق، السالكون في ناموس الرب. طوباهم الذين يفحصون عن شهاداته، ومن قلوبهم يطلبونه، لأن صانعي الإثم لم يهووا أن يسلكوا في سبله. أنت أمرت أن تحفظ وصاياك جدا، فيا ليت طرقي تستقيم إلى حفظ حقوقك. حينئذ لا أخزى إذا ما اطلعت على جميع وصاياك. أشكرك يا رب باستقامة قلبي، إذ عرفت أحكام عدلك. حقوقك أحفظ، فلا ترفضني إلى الغاية. (2) بماذا يقوم الشاب طريقه؟ بحفظه أقوالك. من كل قلبي طلبتك، فلا تبعدني عن وصاياك أخفيت أقوالك في قلبي لكي لا أخطئ إليك. مبارك أنت يا رب علمني حقوقك. بشفتي أظهرت كل أحكام فمك، وفرحت بطريق شهاداتك كما بكل غنى. بوصاياك أتكلم وأتفهم في طرقك، بفرائضك ألهج، ولا أنسى كلامك. (3) كافئ عبدك فأحيا وأحفظ أقوالك. اكشف عن عيني فـأرى عجائب من ناموسك. غريب أنا في الأرض فلا تخفِ عنى وصاياك. اشتاقت نفسي إلى اشتهاء أحكامك في كل حين. إنك انتهرت المتكبرين الملاعين الذين حادوا عن وصاياك. انزع عنى العار والخزي فإني لشهاداتك ابتغيتُ. جلس الرؤساء وتقاولوا على، أما عبدك فكان يهتمُ بحقوقك، لأن شهاداتك هي درسي وحقوقك هي مشورتي (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(4) لصقت بالتراب نفسي فأحيني ككلمتك. أخبرت بطرقك فاستجب لي. علمني حقوقك، وطريق عدلك فهمني، فألهج في عجائبك. ذبلت نفسي من الحزن، فثبتني في أقوالك. طريق الظلم أبعد عنى وبناموسك ارحمني. إني اخترت طريق الحق وأحكامك لم أنس. لصقتُ بشهاداتك يا رب فلا تخزني. في طريق وصاياك سعيتُ عندما وسعتَ قلبي (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(5) ضع لي يا رب ناموسا في طريق حقوقك فأتبعَه كل حين. فهمني فأبحث عن ناموسك وأحفظه بكل قلبي. اهدني في سبيل وصاياك فإني إياها هويت. أمل قلبي إلى شهاداتك لا إلى الظلم. اردد عيني لئلا تعاينا الأباطيل، وفى سبلك أحيني. ثبت قولك لعبدك في خوفك، وانزع عنى العار الذي حَذِرْتُ منه، فإن أحكامك حلوة. هاأنذا قد اشتهيتُ وصاياك، فأحيني ببرك (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(6) لتأت عليّ رحمتك يا رب وخلاصك كقولك. فأجيب معيري بكلمة. لأني اتكلت على أقوالك، لا تنزع من فمي قول الحق، لأني توكلت على أحكامك، واحفظ شريعتك في كل حين، إلى الأبد والى مدى الدهر. كنتُ أسلك في السعة لأني لوصاياك ابتغيتُ. وتكلمت بشهاداتك قدام الملوك ولم أخزَ. ولهجتُ بوصاياك التي أحببتُها جدا، ورفعت يدي إلى وصاياك التي وددتُها جدا. وتأملتُ فرائضك. (7) اذكر لعبدك كلامك الذي جعلتني عليه أتكل. هذا الذي عزاني في مذلتي. لأن قولك أحياني. إن المتكبرين تجاوزوا الناموس إلى الغاية، أما أنا فعن ناموسك لم أمِل. تذكرتُ أحكامك يا رب منذ الدهر فتعزيتُ. الكآبة ملكتني من أجل الخطاة الذين تركوا ناموسك. حقوقك كانت لي مزاميرَ في موضع غربتي. ذكرتُ في الليل اسمك يا رب، وحفظت شريعتك. هذا صار لي لأني طلبت حقوقك. (8) نصيبي أنت يا رب فقلت أن أحفظ وصاياك. ترضيت وجهك بكل قلبي، فارحمني كقولك. لأني تفكرت في طرقك ورددت قدمي إلى شهاداتك. تهيأت ولم أتوانَ لحفظ وصاياك. رباطات الخطاة التفت على، أما شريعتك فلم أنسَها. في نصف الليل نهضت لأشكرك على أحكام عدلك. شريك أنا لكل الذين يخافونك، وللحافظين وصاياك. من رحمتك يا رب امتلأت الأرضُ فعلمني عدلك (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(9) خيرا صنعتَ مع عبدك يا رب حسب قولك، صلاحا وأدبا ومعرفة، علمني فإني قد صدقت وصاياك. قبل أن أتواضع أنا تكاسلتُ. فلهذا حفظتُ كلامك. صالح أنت يا رب فبصلاحك علمني حقوقك. كثر عليّ ظلم المتكبرين، وأنا بكل قلبي أبحث عن وصاياك. تجبن مثل اللبن قلبهم، وأنا لهجت بناموسك. خير لي أنك أذللتني حتى أتعلمَ حقوقك. ناموس فمك خير لي من ألوف ذهب وفضة (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(10) يداك صنعتاني وجبلتاني. فهمني فأتعلم وصاياك. الذين يخافونك يبصرونني ويفرحون، لأني بكلامك وثقت. قد علمتُ يا رب أن أحكامك عادلة وبحق أذللتني. فلتأتِ عليّ رحمتك لتعزيني، نظير قولك لعبدك. لتأتني رأفتك فأحيا فإن ناموسك هو درسي. وليخز المتكبرون لأنهم خالفوا الشرع عليّ ظلما، وأنا كنت مثابرا على وصاياك. وليرجع إليّ الذين يتقونك ويعرفون عجائبك، وليصر قلبي بلا عيب في عدلك لكي لا أخزي (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(11) تاقت نفسي إلى خلاصك وعلى كلامك توكلت. كلت عيناي من انتظار أقوالك قائلتين: متى تعزيني ؟ صرتُ مثل زق في جليد ولحقوقك لم أنس. كم هي أيام عبدك ؟ متى تجري لي حكما على الذين يضطهدونني؟ تكلم معي مخالفو الناموس بكلام هذيان، لكن ليس كناموسك يا رب، لأن كل وصاياك هي حق. وبظلم قد طردوني فأعني؟ كادوا يفنونني على الأرض، أما أنا فلم أترك وصاياك. حسب رحمتك أحيني فأحفظ شهادات فمك (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(12) يا رب كلمتك دائمة في السموات إلى الأبد، وإلى جيل فجيل حقك. أسست الأرض فهي ثابتة بأمرك، والنهار أيضا ثابت. لأن كل الأشياء متعبدة لك. لو لم تكن شريعتك تلاوتي لهلكتُ حينئذ في مذلتي. وإلى الدهر لا أنسى وصاياك لأنك بها أحييتني يا رب. لك أنا فخلصني يا رب، لأني لوصاياك طلبتُ. إياي انتظر الخطاة ليهلكوني، ولشهاداتك فهمت. لكل تمام رأيت منتهى أما وصاياك فواسعة جدا (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(13) محبوب هو اسمك يا رب، فهو طولَ النهار تلاوتي. علمتني وصاياك أفضل من أعدائي، لأنها ثابتة لي إلى الأبد. أكثر من جميع الذين يعلمونني فهمتُ، لأن شهادتك هي درسي. أكثر من الشيوخ فهمتُ، لأني طلبتُ وصاياك. من كل طريق خبيث منعتُ رجليّ لكي أحفظ كلامك. عن كلامك لم أحد، لأنك وضعتَ لي ناموسا. إن كلماتك حلوة في حلقي، أفضل من العسل والشهد في فمي. من وصاياك تفطنتُ، فلهذا أبغضت كل طرق الظلم. (14) مصباح لرجلي كلامك ونور لسبلي. حلفت فأقمت على حفظ أحكام عدلك. تذللت جدا إلى الغاية يا رب، أحيني كقولك. تعهدات فمي باركها يا رب، وأحكامك علمني. نفسي في يديك كل حين، وناموسك لم أنسَ، أخفى الخطاة لي فخا، ولم أضل عن وصاياك. ورثت شهاداتك إلى الأبد، لأنها بهجة قلبي. عطفت قلبي لأصنع برك إلى الأبد (من أجل المكافأة) (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(15) لمتجاوزي الناموس أبغضتُ ولناموسك أحببت. لأنك أنت معيني وناصري. وعلى كلامك توكلت. ابعدوا عني أيها الأشرار فأفحص عن وصايا إلهي. عضدني حسب قولك فأحيا ولا تخيب رجائي. أعني فأخلص، وأدرس في وصاياك كل حين. رذلتَ سائر الذين حادوا عن وصاياك لأن فكرهم ظلم. عصاة حسبتَ سائر خطاة الأرض، فلهذا أحببتُ شهاداتك في كل حين. سمر خوفك في لحمي لأني من أحكامك جزعتُ (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(16) قد أجريتُ حكما وعدلا فلا تسلمني إلى الذين يظلمونني. كن لعبدك كفيلا في الخير، لئلا يجوزَ عليّ المتكبرون. عيناي قد ذبلتا من انتظار خلاصك وقول عدلك. اصنع مع عبدك حسب رحمتك، وحقوقك علمني. عبدك أنا، فهمني فأعرف شهاداتك. إنه وقتٌ يعمل فيه للرب، لأنهم قد نقضوا ناموسك. لأجل هذا أحببتُ وصاياك أفضل من الذهب والجوهر، ولأجل هذا بازاء كل وصاياك تقومتُ، وكل طريق ظلم أبغضتُ (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(17) عجيبة هي شهاداتك لذلك حفظتها نفسي. إعلان أقوالك ينير لي، ويفهم الأطفال والصغار. فتحت فهمي واجتذبتُ لي روحا، لأني لوصاياك اشتقتُ. انظر إليّ وارحمني كرحمتك للذين يحبون اسمك. قوم خطواتي كقولك فلا يتسلط على أيُّ إثم. أنقذني من ظلم الناس فأحفظ وصاياك. أضئ بوجهك على عبدك وعلمني حقوقك. غاصت عيناي في مجاري المياه، لأنهم لم يحفظوا ناموسك. (18) عادل أنت يا رب وقضاؤك مستقيم. أوصيتَ كثيرا بالعدل والحق اللذين هما شهاداتك. غيرة بيتك أكلتني، لأن أعدائي نسوا وصاياك. ممحص قولك جدا، وعبدك أحبه. صغيرٌ أنا ومرذول وحقوقك لم أنسَ. عدلك حق هو إلى الأبد، وكلامك حق هو. ضيق وشدة أدركاني، ووصاياك هي درسي. عادلة هي شهاداتك إلى الأبد. فهمني فأحيا (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(19) صرخت من كل قلبي، فاستجب لي يا رب. إني أبتغي حقوقك. صرختُ إليك فخلصني، لأحفظ شهاداتك. سبقتُ وقمتُ قبل الوقتِ وصرخت، وعلى كلامك توكلتُ. سبقتْ عيناي وقت السحَر، لأتلو في جميع أقوالك، فاسمع صوتي يا رب كرحمتك، وبحسب أحكامك أحيني. اقترب بالإثم الذين يطردونني، وعن ناموسك ابتعدوا. قريب أنت يا رب، وكل وصاياك حق هي. منذ البدء عرفتُ من شهاداتك أنك إلى الدهر أسستها (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(20) انظر إلى مذلتي وأنقذني، فإني لم أنس ناموسك. احكم لي في دعواي ونجني. من أجل كلامك أحيني. بعيد هو الخلاص عن الخطاة، لأنهم لم يطلبوا حقوقك. رأفتك كثيرة جدا يا رب. حسب أحكامك أحيني. كثيرون هُمُ الذين يضطهدونني ويحزنونني، وعن شهاداتك لم أجنح. رأيت الذين لا يفهمون فاكتأبت، لأنهم لأقوالك لم يحفظوا. انظر يا رب، فإني أحببت وصاياك. برحمتك يا رب أحيني. بدء كلامك حقٌ، وإلي الأبد كل أحكام عدلك (ذكصاسي فيلا نيثروبي: المجد لك يا محب البشر Doxa ci Vilan`;rwpe).

(21) الرؤساء اضطهدوني بلا سبب. من أقوالك جزع قلبي. أبتهج أنا بكلامك كمن وجد غنائمَ كثيرة. أبغضتُ الظلم ورذلته، أما ناموسك فأحببته. سبع مرات في النهار سبحتك على أحكام عدلك. فليكن سلام عظيم للذين يحبون اسمك، وليس لهم شك. توقعتُ خلاصك يا رب ووصاياك أحببتها. حفظتْ نفسي شهاداتك وأحببتها جدا. حفظتُ وصاياك وشهاداتك، وكل طرقي أمامك يا رب. (22) فلتدن وسيلتي قدامك يا رب، كقولك فهمني. فلتدخل طلبتي إلى حضرتك يا رب، ككلمتك أحيني. تفيض شفتاي السبح إذا ما علمتني حقوقك. لساني ينطق بأقوالك لأن جميع وصاياك عادلة. لتكن يدك لخلاصي لأنني اشتهيت وصاياك. اشتقتُ إلى خلاصك يا رب، وناموسك هو تلاوتي. تحيا نفسي وتسبحك، وأحكامك تعينيني. ضللت مثل الخروف الضال، فاطلب عبدك، فإني لوصاياك لم أنسَ هللويا.

Zabura ta ɗari da ashirin da takwas

مرارا كثيرة حاربوني منذ صباي ـ ليقل إسرائيل ـ مرارا كثيرة قاتلوني منذ شبابي، وإنهم لم يقدروا علي. على ظهري جلدني الخطاة وأطالوا إثمهم. الرب صدّيق هو، يقطع أعناق الخطاة. فليخز وليرتد إلى الوراء كل الذين يبغضون صهيون، وليكونوا مثل عشب السطوح الذي ييبَس قبل أن يقطع، الذي لم يملأ الحاصد منه يده، ولا الذي يجمع الغمورَ حضنه. ولم يقلْ المجتازون إن بركة الرب عليكم. باركناكم باسم الرب هلليلويا.

ثم سأله أحد الفريسيين أن يأكل معه. فلما دخل بيت الفريسي اتكأ. وإذا امرأة في المدينة كانت خاطئة. فلما علمتْ أنه متكئ في بيت الفريسي، أخذت قارورة طيب ووقفتْ من ورائه عند رجليه باكية، وبدأت تبل قدميه بدموعها وتمسحهما بشعر رأسها، وكانت تقبل قدميه وتدهنهما بالطيب. فلما رأى الفريسي الذي دعاه ذلك قال محدثا نفسه: لو كان هذا نبيا لعلم من هي هذه المرأة التي لمسته، وما حالها، إنها خاطئة. فأجاب يسوع وقال له: يا سمعان عندي كلمة أقولها لك. فقال: قل يا معلم. قال: كان لدائن مدينان على الواحد خمسمائة دينار وعلى الآخر خمسون، وإذ لم يكن لهما ما يوفيان سامحهما كليهما. فمن منهما يحبه أكثر؟ أجاب سمعان وقال: أظنُّ الذي سامحه بالأكثر. فقال له: بالصواب حكمتَ. ثم التفت إلى المرأة وقال لسمعان: أترى هذه المرأة؟ دخلتُ بيتك وماء لرجلي لم تعطِ، أما هي فقد غسلتْ بالدموع رجلي ومسحتهما بشعرها. لم تقبل فمي، أما هي فمنذ دخلتُ بيتك لم تكف عن تقبيل قدمي. بزيت لم تدهن رأسي، أما هي فقد دهنت بالطيب قدمي. من أجل ذلك أقول لك إن خطاياها الكثيرة مغفورة لها، لأنها أحبت كثيرا. والذي يغفر له قليل يحب قليلا. ثم قال لها: مغفورة لك خطاياك. فبدأ المتكئون يقولون في نفوسهم: من هو هذا الآخر الذي يغفر الخطايا؟! فقال للمرأة: إن إيمانك قد خلصكِ، فاذهبي بسلام (والمجد لله دائما.)

فقال له بطرس: يا رب ألنا قلتَ هذا أم قلته للجميع ؟ فقال الرب: من هو الوكيل الأمين الحكيم الذي يقيمه سيده على عبيده ليعطيهم طعامهم في حينه ؟ طوبى لذلك العبد الذي إذا جاء سيده يجده يفعل هكذا. حقا أقول لكم إنه يقيمه على جميع أمواله. ولكن إن قال ذلك العبد الرديء في قلبه إن سيدي يبطئ في قدومه، فيبدأ يضرب العبيد والإماء ويأكل ويشرب ويسكر، يأتي سيد ذلك العبد في اليوم الذي لا يتوقعه وفي الساعة التي لا يعرفها، فيشقه من وسطه، ويجعل نصيبه مع عديمي الإيمان (والمجد لله دائما)

Sai ga wata mace mai zunubi, ta fito daga cikin birni. Sa'anda ta ji labari Yesu yana gidan Bafarisen, domin ya ci abinci. Ta dauki tandun mai na alabastar mai kamshi.

Ta tsaya kusa da Yesu tana kuka. Ta fara jika kafafunsa da hawayenta, tana shafe kafafunsa da gashin kanta. Tana yi wa kafafunsa sumba, tana shafe su da turare.

Sa'anda Bafarisen da ya gaiyaci Yesu, ya ga haka, sai ya yi tunani a cikin ransa, da cewa, “In da wannan mutum annabi ne, da ya gane ko wacce irin mace ce, wannan da take taba shi, ita mai zunubi ce.”

Yesu ya amsa ya ce masa, “Siman, ina so in gaya maka wani abu.” Ya ce, “malam sai ka fadi!”

Yesu ya ce, “wani mutum mai ba da bashi yana bin wadansu mutane su biyu kudi, yana bin dayan sule dari, dayan kuma yana bin sa sule hamsin.

Da yake ba su da kudin da za su iya biyan sa, sai ya yafe masu, su duka biyu. A cikin su biyu, wanne ne zai fi nuna kauna ga wannan mutum?”

Siman ya amsa ya ce, “Ina tsammani wanda ya yafe wa kudi da yawa.” Yesu ya amsa ya ce masa, “Ka shari'anta dai dai.”

Yesu ya juya wajen matar, ya ce da Siman, “Ka ga matan nan. Na shiga gidanka. Ba ka ba ni ruwa domin kafafuna ba, amma ita ta ba ni, da hawayenta ta wanke kafafuna, ta kuma shafe su da gashin kanta.

Kai ba ka yi ma ni sumba ba, amma ita ta yi, tun sa'adda na shigo nan ba ta dena sumbatar kafafuna ba.

Kai ba ka shafe kai na da mai ba, amma ita ta shafe kafafuna da turare.

Saboda haka, ita wadda ta ke da zunubi da yawa ta bayar da mai yawa, ta kuma nuna kauna mai yawa. Amma shi wanda aka gafarta wa kadan, ya kuma nuna kauna kadan.”

Daga nan sai ya ce mata, “An gafarta zunubanki.”
