and said, By myself have I sworn, saith Jehovah, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son,
And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew not man. And it was a custom in Israel, [

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?
Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.
