And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of Jehovah our God any more, then we shall die.

Thick clouds are a covering to him, so that he seeth not; And he walketh on the vault of heaven.

For his eyes are upon the ways of a man, And he seeth all his goings.

[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David]. O Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known [me] .

Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith Jehovah.

But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah; and he went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah.

in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness therewith, and their thoughts one with another accusing or else excusing [them] );
