Should a wise man make answer with vain knowledge, And fill himself with the east wind?

[For the Chief Musician; set to Shoshannim. [A Psalm] of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves]. My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I speak the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge; But the heart of the foolish [doeth] not so.

Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And apply thy heart unto my knowledge.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms [and] hymns [and] spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.
