No man^G3762 can^G1410 serve^G1398 two^G1417 masters;^G2962 for^G1063 either^G2228 he will hate^G3404 the one,^G1520 and^G2532 love^G25 the other;^G2087 or else^G2228 he will hold to^G472 one,^G1520 and^G2532 despise^G2706 the other.^G3756 Ye cannot^G1410 serve^G1398 God^G2316 and^G2532 mammon.^G3126

If^G1487 ye were^G2258 of^G1537 the world,^G2889 the world^G2889 would love^{G5368 G302} its own:^G2398 but^G1161 because^G3754 ye are^G2075 not^G3756 of^G1537 the world,^G2889 but^G235 I^G1473 chose^G1586 you^G5209 out of^G1537 the world,^G2889 therefore^{G1223 G5124} the world^G2889 hateth^G3404 you.^G5209

For^G1063 am I^G3982 now^G737 seeking the favor^G3982 of men,^G444 or^G2228 of God?^G2316 or^G2228 am I striving^G2212 to please^G700 men?^{G444 G1063} if^G1487 I^G700 were still^G2089 pleasing^G700 men,^G444 I should^G302 not^G3756 be^G2252 a servant^G1401 of Christ.^G5547

If^G1487 then^G3767 ye^G4891 were raised^G4891 together with Christ,^G5547 seek^G2212 the things that are^G3588 above,^G507 where^G3757 Christ^G5547 is, seated^G2521 on^G1722 the right hand^G1188 of God.^G2316

Ye ^{G3432 G2532} adulteresses,^G3428 know ye^G1492 not^G3756 that^G3754 the friendship^G5373 of the world^G2889 is^G2076 enmity^G2189 with God?^G2316 Whosoever^{G3739 G302} therefore^G3767 would^G1014 be^G1511 a friend^G5384 of the world^G2889 maketh^G2525 himself an enemy^G2190 of God.^G2316

They^G846 are^G1526 of^G1537 the world:^G2889 therefore^{G1223 G5124} speak they^G2980 [as] of^G1537 the world,^G2889 and^G2532 the world^G2889 heareth^G191 them.^G846
