As for the works^H6468 of men,^H120 by the word^H1697 of thy lips^H8193 I have kept^H8104 me from the ways^H734 of the violent.^H6530

Keep^H5341 thy heart^H3820 with all diligence;^H4929 For out of it are the issues^H8444 of life.^H2416

Of his own will^G1014 he brought^G616 us^G2248 forth by the word^G3056 of truth,^G1519 that we^G2248 should be^G1511 a kind^G5100 of firstfruits^G536 of his^G846 creatures.^G2938

having been begotten again,^G313 not^G3756 of^G1537 corruptible^G5349 seed,^G4701 but^G235 of incorruptible,^G862 through^G1223 the word^G3056 of God,^G2316 which liveth^G2198 and^G2532 abideth.^G3306

If^G1437 ye know^G1492 that^G3754 he is^G2076 righteous,^G1342 ye know^G1097 that^G3754 every one^G3956 also that^G3588 doeth^G4160 righteousness^G1343 is begotten^G1080 of^G1537 him.^G846

For^G3754 whatsoever^G3956 is begotten^G1080 of^G1537 God^G2316 overcometh^G3528 the world:^G2889 and^G2532 this^G3778 is^G2076 the victory^G3529 that hath overcome^G3528 the world,^G2889 [even] our^G2257 faith.^G4102

keep^G5083 yourselves^G1438 in^G1722 the love^G26 of God,^G2316 looking for^G4327 the mercy^G1656 of^G2962 our^G2257 Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547 unto^G1519 eternal^G166 life.^G2222
