Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the King^H4428 of Israel,^H3478 and his Redeemer,^H1350 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts:^H6635 I am the first,^H7223 and I am the last;^H314 and besides^H1107 me there is no God.^H430

Jesus^G2424 answered,^G611 The^G3754 first^G4413 is, Hear,^G191 O Israel;^G2474 The Lord^G2962 our^G2257 God,^G2316 the Lord^G2962 is^G2076 one:^G1520

And^G2532 the servant^G1401 said,^G2036 Lord,^G2962 what thou didst^G5613 command^G2004 is done,^G1096 and^G2532 yet^G2089 there is^G2076 room.^G5117

And^G1161 this^G3778 is^G2076 life^G2222 eternal,^G166 that^G2443 they should know^G1097 thee^G4571 the only^G3441 true^G228 God,^G2316 and^G2532 him whom^G3739 thou didst send,^G649 [even] Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547

For^G1063 there is^G2076 no^G3756 distinction^G1293 between^G5037 Jew^G2453 and^G2532 Greek:^G1672 for^G1063 the^G2962 same^G846 [Lord] is Lord^G2962 of all,^G3956 and is rich^G4147 unto^G1519 all^G3956 that call upon^G1941 him:^G846

Now^G1161 a mediator^G3316 is^G2076 not^G3756 [a mediator] of one;^G1520 but^G1161 God^G2316 is^G2076 one.^G1520

who,^G3739 existing^G5225 in^G1722 the form^G3444 of God,^G2316 counted not^G3756 the being^G5225 on an equality^G2470 with God^G2316 a thing to be^G1511 grasped,^G725

Wherefore^G3606 also^G2532 he is able^G1410 to save^G4982 to^G1519 the uttermost^G3838 them^G3838 that draw near^G4334 unto God^G2316 through^G1223 him,^G846 seeing he^G2198 ever^G3842 liveth^G2198 to^G1519 make intercession^G1793 for^G5228 them.^G846

And^G2532 for^G1223 this cause^G5124 he is^G2076 the mediator^G3316 of a new^G2537 covenant,^G1242 that^G3704 a death^G2288 having taken place^G1096 for^G1519 the redemption^G629 of the transgressions^G3847 that were under^G1909 the first^G4413 covenant,^G1242 they that have been called^G2564 may receive^G2983 the promise^G1860 of the eternal^G166 inheritance.^G2817

and^G2532 in^G1722 the midst^G3319 of the ^G2033 candlesticks^G3087 one like^G3664 unto a son^G5207 of man,^G444 clothed^G1746 with a garment down to the foot,^G4158 and^G2532 girt^G4024 about^G4314 at the breasts^G3149 with a golden^G5552 girdle.^G2223
