Wherefore the anger^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 was kindled^H2734 against Amaziah,^H558 and he sent^H7971 unto him a prophet,^H5030 who said^H559 unto him, Why hast thou sought^H1875 after the gods^H430 of the people,^H5971 which have not delivered^H5337 their own people^H5971 out of thy hand?^H3027

Give^H5414 [instruction] to a wise^H2450 man, and he will be yet wiser:^H2449 Teach^H3045 a righteous^H6662 man, and he will increase^H3254 in learning.^H3948

Hear^H8085 counsel,^H6098 and receive^H6901 instruction,^H4148 That thou mayest be wise^H2449 in thy latter end.^H319

Thine own friend,^H7453 and thy father's^H1 friend,^H7453 forsake^H5800 not; And go^H935 not to thy brother's^H251 house^H1004 in the day^H3117 of thy calamity:^H343 Better^H2896 is a neighbor^H7934 that is near^H7138 than a brother^H251 far off.^H7350
