And when Pharaoh^H6547 drew nigh,^H7126 the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 lifted up^H5375 their eyes,^H5869 and, behold, the Egyptians^H4714 were marching^H5265 after^H310 them; and they were sore^H3966 afraid:^H3372 and the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 cried out^H6817 unto Jehovah.^H3068

Were it not^H3884 that I feared^H1481 the provocation^H3708 of the enemy,^H341 Lest their adversaries^H6862 should judge amiss,^H5234 Lest they should say,^H559 Our hand^H3027 is exalted,^H7311 And Jehovah^H3068 hath not done^H6466 all this.

For Jehovah^H3068 will judge^H1777 his people,^H5971 And repent^H5162 himself for his servants;^H5650 When he seeth^H7200 that [their] power^H3027 is gone,^H235 And there is none^H657 [remaining], shut up^H6113 or left^H5800 at large.

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Gideon,^H1439 By the three^H7969 hundred^H3967 men^H376 that lapped^H3952 will I save^H3467 you, and deliver^H5414 the Midianites^H4080 into thy hand;^H3027 and let all the people^H5971 go^H3212 every man^H376 unto his place.^H4725

And Jonathan^H3083 said^H559 to the young man^H5288 that bare^H5375 his armor,^H3627 Come,^H3212 and let us go over^H5674 unto the garrison^H4673 of these uncircumcised:^H6189 it may be that Jehovah^H3068 will work^H6213 for us; for there is no restraint^H4622 to Jehovah^H3068 to save^H3467 by many^H7227 or by few.^H4592

Then said^H559 David^H1732 to the Philistine,^H6430 Thou comest^H935 to me with a sword,^H2719 and with a spear,^H2595 and with a javelin:^H3591 but I come^H935 to thee in the name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of the armies^H6635 of Israel,^H3478 whom thou hast defied.^H2778

And they were helped^H5826 against them, and the Hagrites^H1905 were delivered^H5414 into their hand,^H3027 and all that were with them; for they cried^H2199 to God^H430 in the battle,^H4421 and he was entreated^H6279 of them, because they put their trust^H982 in him.

And when Judah^H3063 looked back,^H6437 behold, the battle^H4421 was before^H6440 and behind^H268 them; and they cried^H6817 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and the priests^H3548 sounded^H2690 with the trumpets.^H2689

Thus the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 were brought^H3665 under at that time,^H6256 and the children^H1121 of Judah^H3063 prevailed,^H553 because they relied^H8172 upon Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of their fathers.^H1

O our God,^H430 wilt thou not judge^H8199 them? for we have no might^H3581 against^H6440 this great^H7227 company^H1995 that cometh^H935 against us; neither know^H3045 we^H587 what to do:^H6213 but our eyes^H5869 are upon thee.

And God^H430 helped^H5826 him against the Philistines,^H6430 and against the Arabians^H6163 that dwelt^H3427 in Gur-baal,^H1485 and the Meunim.^H4586

And Hezekiah^H3169 the king,^H4428 and Isaiah^H3470 the prophet^H5030 the son^H1121 of Amoz,^H531 prayed^H6419 because of this, and cried^H2199 to heaven.^H8064

In my distress^H6862 I called^H7121 upon Jehovah,^H3068 And cried^H7768 unto my God:^H430 He heard^H8085 my voice^H6963 out of his temple,^H1964 And my cry^H7775 before^H6440 him came^H935 into his ears.^H241

Some [trust] in chariots,^H7393 and some in horses;^H5483 But we will make mention^H2142 of the name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 our God.^H430

They cried^H2199 unto thee, and were delivered:^H4422 They trusted^H982 in thee, and were not put to shame.^H954

This poor man^H6041 cried,^H7121 and Jehovah^H3068 heard^H8085 him, And saved^H3467 him out of all his troubles.^H6869

And call^H7121 upon me in the day^H3117 of trouble;^H6869 I will deliver^H2502 thee, and thou shalt glorify^H3513 me.

He shall call^H7121 upon me, and I will answer^H6030 him; I will be with him in trouble:^H6869 I will deliver^H2502 him, and honor^H3513 him.

The name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 is a strong^H5797 tower;^H4026 The righteous^H6662 runneth^H7323 into it, and is safe.^H7682

Thou wilt keep^H5341 [him] in perfect^H7965 peace,^H7965 [whose] mind^H3336 [is] stayed^H5564 [on thee]; because he trusteth^H982 in thee.

He giveth^H5414 power^H3581 to the faint;^H3287 and to him that hath no might^H202 he increaseth^H7235 strength.^H6109

And they shall fight^H3898 against thee; but they shall not prevail^H3201 against thee: for I am with thee, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 to deliver^H5337 thee.

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts:^H6635 After^H310 glory^H3519 hath he sent^H7971 me unto the nations^H1471 which plundered^H7997 you; for he that toucheth^H5060 you toucheth^H5060 the apple^H892 of his eye.^H5869

Let^G5015 not^G3361 your^G5216 heart^G2588 be troubled:^G5015 believe^G4100 in^G1519 God,^G2316 believe^G4100 also^G2532 in^G1519 me.^G4100

And^G2532 it shall be,^G2071 that^G3956 whosoever^G302 shall call on^G1941 the name^G3686 of the Lord^G2962 shall be saved.^G4982

and^G2532 he fell^G4098 upon^G1909 the earth,^G1093 and heard^G191 a voice^G5456 saying^G3004 unto him,^G846 Saul,^G4549 Saul,^G4549 why^G5101 persecutest^G1377 thou me?^G3165

And^G2532 he hath said^G2046 unto me,^G3427 My^G3450 grace^G5485 is sufficient^G714 for thee:^G4671 for^G1063 [my]^G3450 power^G1411 is made perfect^G5048 in^G1722 weakness.^G769 Most gladly^G2236 therefore^G3767 will I^G2744 rather^G3123 glory^G2744 in^G1722 my^G3450 weaknesses,^G769 that^G2443 the power^G1411 of Christ^G5547 may rest^G1981 upon^G1909 me.^G1691
