For there the Amalekite^H6003 and the Canaanite^H3669 are before^H6440 you, and ye shall fall^H5307 by the sword:^H2719 because ye are turned^H7725 back^H310 from following Jehovah,^H3068 therefore Jehovah^H3068 will not be with you.

When thou goest forth^H3318 to battle^H4421 against thine enemies,^H341 and seest^H7200 horses,^H5483 and chariots,^H7393 [and] a people^H5971 more^H7227 than thou, thou shalt not be afraid^H3372 of them; for Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 is with thee, who brought thee up^H5927 out of the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

And when they told^H5046 it to Jotham,^H3147 he went^H3212 and stood^H5975 on the top^H7218 of mount^H2022 Gerizim,^H1630 and lifted up^H5375 his voice,^H6963 and cried,^H7121 and said^H559 unto them, Hearken^H8085 unto me, ye men^H1167 of Shechem,^H7927 that God^H430 may hearken^H8085 unto you.

And it came to pass, when the kingdom^H4438 of Rehoboam^H7346 was established,^H3559 and he was strong,^H2393 that he forsook^H5800 the law^H8451 of Jehovah,^H3068 and all Israel^H3478 with him.

with him is an arm^H2220 of flesh;^H1320 but with us is Jehovah^H3068 our God^H430 to help^H5826 us, and to fight^H3898 our battles.^H4421 And the people^H5971 rested^H5564 themselves upon the words^H1697 of Hezekiah^H3169 king^H4428 of Judah.^H3063

And when he was in distress,^H6887 he besought^H2470 Jehovah^H3068 his God,^H430 and humbled^H3665 himself greatly^H3966 before^H6440 the God^H430 of his fathers.^H1

And he said,^H559 Hear^H8085 ye now, O house^H1004 of David:^H1732 Is it a small thing^H4592 for you to weary^H3811 men,^H582 that ye will weary^H3811 my God^H430 also?

Seek^H1875 ye Jehovah^H3068 while he may be found;^H4672 call^H7121 ye upon him while he is near:^H7138

Hast thou not procured^H6213 this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken^H5800 Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 when^H6256 he led^H3212 thee by the way?^H1870

Seek^H1875 good,^H2896 and not evil,^H7451 that ye may live;^H2421 and so Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of hosts,^H6635 will be with you, as ye say.^H559

Ask,^G154 and^G2532 it shall be given^G1325 you;^G5213 seek,^G2212 and^G2532 ye shall find;^G2147 knock,^G2925 and^G2532 it shall be opened^G455 unto you:^G5213

I say^G3004 then,^G3361 Did^G683 God^G2316 cast off^G683 his^G846 people?^G3361 God forbid.^G1096 For^G1063 I^G1473 also^G2532 am^G1510 an Israelite,^G2475 of^G1537 the seed^G4690 of Abraham,^G11 of the tribe^G5443 of Benjamin.^G958

See^G991 that^G3361 ye^G991 refuse^G3868 not^G3361 him that speaketh.^G2980 For^G1063 if^G1487 they^G1565 escaped^G5343 not^G3756 when they refused^G3868 him that warned^G5537 [them] on^G1909 earth,^G1093 much^G4183 more^G3123 [shall not] we^G2249 [escape] who turn away from^G654 him that^G3588 [warneth] from^G575 heaven:^G3772
