Then men shall say,^H559 Because they forsook the covenant^H1285 of Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of their fathers,^H1 which he made^H3772 with them when he brought them forth^H3318 out^H3318 of the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714

And Samuel^H8050 said^H559 to Saul,^H7586 Thou hast done foolishly;^H5528 thou hast not kept^H8104 the commandment^H4687 of Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 which he commanded^H6680 thee: for now would Jehovah^H3068 have established^H3559 thy kingdom^H4467 upon Israel^H3478 for^H5704 ever.^H5769

Then the Spirit^H7307 came^H3847 upon Amasai,^H6022 who was chief^H7218 of the thirty,^H7970 [and he said], Thine are we, David,^H1732 and on thy side, thou son^H1121 of Jesse:^H3448 peace,^H7965 peace^H7965 be unto thee, and peace^H7965 be to thy helpers;^H5826 for thy God^H430 helpeth^H5826 thee. Thy way^H1870 and thy doings^H4611 have procured^H6213 these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness;^H7451 for it is bitter,^H4751 for it reacheth^H5060 unto thy heart.^H3820

Your iniquities^H5771 have turned away^H5186 these things, and your sins^H2403 have withholden^H4513 good^H2896 from you.
