TSK · 2 Chronicles 33:3

Thou shalt not plant^H5193 thee an Asherah^H842 of any kind of tree^H6086 beside^H681 the altar^H4196 of Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 which thou shalt make^H6213 thee.

And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 did^H6213 that which was evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah,^H3068 and served^H5647 the Baalim;^H1168

For they also built^H1129 them high places,^H1116 and pillars,^H4676 and Asherim,^H842 on every high^H1364 hill,^H1389 and under every green^H7488 tree;^H6086

For he built^H1129 again^H7725 the high places^H1116 which Hezekiah^H2396 his father^H1 had destroyed;^H6 and he reared up^H6965 altars^H4196 for Baal,^H1168 and made^H6213 an Asherah,^H842 as did^H6213 Ahab^H256 king^H4428 of Israel,^H3478 and worshipped^H7812 all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 and served^H5647 them.

And he took away^H7673 the horses^H5483 that the kings^H4428 of Judah^H3063 had given^H5414 to the sun,^H8121 at the entrance^H935 of the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 by the chamber^H3957 of Nathan-melech^H5419 the chamberlain,^H5631 which was in the precincts;^H6503 and he burned^H8313 the chariots^H4818 of the sun^H8121 with fire.^H784

And Ahaz^H271 gathered together^H622 the vessels^H3627 of the house^H1004 of God,^H430 and cut in pieces^H7112 the vessels^H3627 of the house^H1004 of God,^H430 and shut up^H5462 the doors^H1817 of the house^H1004 of Jehovah;^H3068 and he made^H6213 him altars^H4196 in every corner^H6438 of Jerusalem.^H3389

Now when all this was finished,^H3615 all Israel^H3478 that were present^H4672 went out^H3318 to the cities^H5892 of Judah,^H3063 and brake^H7665 in pieces^H7665 the pillars,^H4676 and hewed down^H1438 the Asherim,^H842 and brake down^H5422 the high places^H1116 and the altars^H4196 out of all Judah^H3063 and Benjamin,^H1144 in Ephraim^H669 also and Manasseh,^H4519 until they had destroyed^H3615 them all. Then all the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 returned,^H7725 every man^H376 to his possession,^H272 into their own cities.^H5892

And who knoweth^H3045 whether he will be a wise^H2450 man or a fool?^H5530 yet will he have rule^H7980 over all my labor^H5999 wherein I have labored,^H5999 and wherein I have showed myself wise^H2449 under the sun.^H8121 This also is vanity.^H1892

and they shall spread^H7849 them before the sun,^H8121 and the moon,^H3394 and all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 which they have loved,^H157 and which they have served,^H5647 and after^H310 which they have walked,^H1980 and which they have sought,^H1875 and which they have worshipped:^H7812 they shall not be gathered,^H622 nor be buried,^H6912 they shall be for dung^H1828 upon the face^H6440 of the earth.^H127

and the houses^H1004 of Jerusalem,^H3389 and the houses^H1004 of the kings^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 which are defiled,^H2931 shall be as the place^H4725 of Topheth,^H8612 even all the houses^H1004 upon whose roofs^H1406 they have burned incense^H6999 unto all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 and have poured out^H5258 drink-offerings^H5262 unto other^H312 gods.^H430

But^G1161 God^G2316 turned,^G4762 and^G2532 gave^G3860 them^G846 up^G3860 to serve^G3000 the host^G4756 of heaven;^G3772 as^G2531 it is written^G1125 in^G1722 the book^G976 of the prophets,^G4396 Did ye offer^G4374 unto me^G3427 slain beasts^G4968 and^G2532 sacrifices^G2378 Forty^G5062 years^G2094 in^G1722 the wilderness,^G2048 O house^G3624 of Israel?^G3361
