TSK · 2 Chronicles 34:4

Thou shalt not bow down^H7812 to their gods,^H430 nor serve^H5647 them, nor do^H6213 after their works;^H4639 but thou shalt utterly^H2040 overthrow^H2040 them, and^H7665 break in pieces^H7665 their pillars.^H4676

And I will destroy^H8045 your high places,^H1116 and cut down^H3772 your sun-images,^H2553 and cast^H5414 your dead bodies^H6297 upon the bodies^H6297 of your idols;^H1544 and my soul^H5315 shall abhor^H1602 you.

The graven images^H6456 of their gods^H430 shall ye burn^H8313 with fire:^H784 thou shalt not covet^H2530 the silver^H3701 or the gold^H2091 that is on them, nor take^H3947 it unto thee, lest thou be snared^H3369 therein; for it is an abomination^H8441 to Jehovah^H3068 thy God.^H430

And he cried^H7121 against the altar^H4196 by the word^H1697 of Jehovah,^H3068 and said,^H559 O altar,^H4196 altar,^H4196 thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 Behold, a son^H1121 shall be born^H3205 unto the house^H1004 of David,^H1732 Josiah^H2977 by name;^H8034 and upon thee shall he sacrifice^H2076 the priests^H3548 of the high places^H1116 that burn incense^H6999 upon thee, and men's^H120 bones^H6106 shall they burn^H8313 upon thee.

And the king^H4428 commanded^H6680 Hilkiah^H2518 the high^H1419 priest,^H3548 and the priests^H3548 of the second order,^H4932 and the keepers^H8104 of the threshold,^H5592 to bring forth^H3318 out of the temple^H1964 of Jehovah^H3068 all the vessels^H3627 that were made^H6213 for Baal,^H1168 and for the Asherah,^H842 and for all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 and he burned^H8313 them without^H2351 Jerusalem^H3389 in the fields^H7709 of the Kidron,^H6939 and carried^H5375 the ashes^H6083 of them unto Beth-el.^H1008

And he took away^H7673 the horses^H5483 that the kings^H4428 of Judah^H3063 had given^H5414 to the sun,^H8121 at the entrance^H935 of the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 by the chamber^H3957 of Nathan-melech^H5419 the chamberlain,^H5631 which was in the precincts;^H6503 and he burned^H8313 the chariots^H4818 of the sun^H8121 with fire.^H784

And they arose^H6965 and took away^H5493 the altars^H4196 that were in Jerusalem,^H3389 and all the altars for incense^H6999 took they away,^H5493 and cast^H7993 them into the brook^H5158 Kidron.^H6939

For he built^H1129 again^H7725 the high places^H1116 which Hezekiah^H3169 his father^H1 had broken down;^H5422 and he reared up^H6965 altars^H4196 for the Baalim,^H1168 and made^H6213 Asheroth,^H842 and worshipped^H7812 all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 and served^H5647 them.

And Josiah^H2977 took away^H5493 all the abominations^H8441 out of all the countries^H776 that pertained to the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 and made all that were found^H4672 in Israel^H3478 to serve,^H5647 even to serve^H5647 Jehovah^H3068 their God.^H430 All his days^H3117 they departed^H5493 not from following^H310 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of their fathers.^H1

Therefore by this^H2063 shall the iniquity^H5771 of Jacob^H3290 be forgiven,^H3722 and this is all the fruit^H6529 of taking away^H5493 his sin:^H2403 that he maketh^H7760 all the stones^H68 of the altar^H4196 as chalkstones^H1615 that are beaten in sunder,^H5310 [so that] the Asherim^H842 and the sun-images^H2553 shall rise no more.^H6965
