And I will set^H5414 my face^H6440 against you, and ye shall be smitten^H5062 before^H6440 your enemies:^H341 they that hate^H8130 you shall rule^H7287 over you; and ye shall flee^H5127 when none pursueth^H7291 you.

I call^H5749 heaven^H8064 and earth^H776 to witness^H5749 against you this day,^H3117 that ye shall soon^H4118 utterly^H6 perish^H6 from off the land^H776 whereunto ye go over^H5674 the Jordan^H3383 to possess^H3423 it; ye shall not prolong^H748 your days^H3117 upon it, but shall utterly^H8045 be destroyed.^H8045

Thine ox^H7794 shall be slain^H2873 before thine eyes,^H5869 and thou shalt not eat^H398 thereof: thine ass^H2543 shall be violently taken away^H1497 from before thy face,^H6440 and shall not be restored^H7725 to thee: thy sheep^H6629 shall be given^H5414 unto thine enemies,^H341 and thou shalt have none to save^H3467 thee.

Then my anger^H639 shall be kindled^H2734 against them in that day,^H3117 and I will forsake^H5800 them, and I will hide^H5641 my face^H6440 from them, and they shall be devoured,^H398 and many^H7227 evils^H7451 and troubles^H6869 shall come upon^H4672 them; so that they will say^H559 in that day,^H3117 Are not these evils^H7451 come^H4672 upon us because our God^H430 is not among^H7130 us?

Therefore Jehovah^H3068 was very^H3966 angry^H599 with Israel,^H3478 and removed^H5493 them out of his sight:^H6440 there was none left^H7604 but the tribe^H7626 of Judah^H3063 only.

And Jehovah^H3068 rejected^H3988 all the seed^H2233 of Israel,^H3478 and afflicted^H6031 them, and delivered^H5414 them into the hand^H3027 of spoilers,^H8154 until he had cast^H7993 them out of his sight.^H6440

It may be^H194 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 will hear^H8085 all the words^H1697 of Rabshakeh,^H7262 whom the king^H4428 of Assyria^H804 his master^H113 hath sent^H7971 to defy^H2778 the living^H2416 God,^H430 and will rebuke^H3198 the words^H1697 which Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 hath heard:^H8085 wherefore lift up^H5375 thy prayer^H8605 for the remnant^H7611 that is left.^H4672

And Jehovah^H3068 sent^H7971 against him bands^H1416 of the Chaldeans,^H3778 and bands^H1416 of the Syrians,^H758 and bands^H1416 of the Moabites,^H4124 and bands^H1416 of the children^H1121 of Ammon,^H5983 and sent^H7971 them against Judah^H3063 to destroy^H6 it, according to the word^H1697 of Jehovah,^H3068 which he spake^H1696 by^H3027 his servants^H5650 the prophets.^H5030

but they mocked^H3931 the messengers^H4397 of God,^H430 and despised^H959 his words,^H1697 and scoffed^H8591 at his prophets,^H5030 until the wrath^H2534 of Jehovah^H3068 arose^H5927 against his people,^H5971 till there was no remedy.^H4832

For Jehovah^H3068 loveth^H157 justice,^H4941 And forsaketh^H5800 not his saints;^H2623 They are preserved^H8104 for ever:^H5769 But the seed^H2233 of the wicked^H7563 shall be cut off.^H3772

Maschil of Asaph. O God,^H430 why hast thou cast [us] off^H2186 for ever?^H5331 Why doth thine anger^H639 smoke^H6225 against the sheep^H6629 of thy pasture?^H4830

Therefore was the wrath^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 kindled^H2734 against his people,^H5971 And he abhorred^H8581 his inheritance.^H5159

I have forsaken^H5800 my house,^H1004 I have cast^H5203 off my heritage;^H5159 I have given^H5414 the dearly beloved^H3033 of my soul^H5315 into the hand^H3709 of her enemies.^H341

And when this people,^H5971 or the prophet,^H5030 or a priest,^H3548 shall ask^H7592 thee, saying,^H559 What is the burden^H4853 of Jehovah?^H3068 then shalt thou say^H559 unto them, What burden!^H4853 I will cast^H5203 you off, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

The adversary^H6862 hath spread out^H6566 his hand^H3027 upon all her pleasant things:^H4261 For she hath seen^H7200 that the nations^H1471 are entered^H935 into her sanctuary,^H4720 Concerning whom thou didst command^H6680 that they should not enter^H935 into thine assembly.^H6951

The virgin^H1330 of Israel^H3478 is fallen;^H5307 she shall no more^H3254 rise:^H6965 she is cast down^H5203 upon her land;^H127 there is none to raise her up.^H6965
