and hath gone^H3212 and served^H5647 other^H312 gods,^H430 and worshipped^H7812 them, or the sun,^H8121 or the moon,^H3394 or any of the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 which I have not commanded;^H6680

And Elijah^H452 came^H5066 near unto all the people,^H5971 and said,^H559 How long^H5921 go ye limping^H6452 between the two^H8147 sides? if Jehovah^H3068 be God,^H430 follow^H3212 him; but if Baal,^H1168 then follow^H3212 him. And the people^H5971 answered^H6030 him not a word.^H1697

And he walked^H3212 in the way^H1870 of the kings^H4428 of Israel,^H3478 as did^H6213 the house^H1004 of Ahab:^H256 for he had the daughter^H1323 of Ahab^H256 to wife;^H802 and he did^H6213 that which was evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah.^H3068

And Jehu^H3058 gathered^H6908 all the people^H5971 together,^H6908 and said^H559 unto them, Ahab^H256 served^H5647 Baal^H1168 a little;^H4592 but Jehu^H3058 will serve^H5647 him much.^H7235

And they forsook^H5800 all the commandments^H4687 of Jehovah^H3068 their God,^H430 and made^H6213 them molten images,^H4541 even two^H8147 calves,^H5695 and made^H6213 an Asherah,^H842 and worshipped^H7812 all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 and served^H5647 Baal.^H1168

But if ye say^H559 unto me, We trust^H982 in Jehovah^H3068 our God;^H430 is not that he, whose high places^H1116 and whose altars^H4196 Hezekiah^H2396 hath taken away,^H5493 and hath said^H559 to Judah^H3063 and to Jerusalem,^H3389 Ye shall worship^H7812 before^H6440 this altar^H4196 in Jerusalem?^H3389

Hath not the same Hezekiah^H3169 taken away^H5493 his high places^H1116 and his altars,^H4196 and commanded^H559 Judah^H3063 and Jerusalem,^H3389 saying,^H559 Ye shall worship^H7812 before^H6440 one^H259 altar,^H4196 and upon it shall ye burn incense?^H6999

For in the eighth^H8083 year^H8141 of his reign,^H4427 while he was yet young,^H5288 he began^H2490 to seek^H1875 after the God^H430 of David^H1732 his father;^H1 and in the twelfth^H8147 year^H8141 he began^H2490 to purge^H2891 Judah^H3063 and Jerusalem^H3389 from the high places,^H1116 and the Asherim,^H842 and the graven images,^H6456 and the molten images.^H4541

But ye that forsake^H5800 Jehovah,^H3068 that forget^H7913 my holy^H6944 mountain,^H2022 that prepare^H6186 a table^H7979 for Fortune,^H1409 and that fill^H4390 up mingled wine^H4469 unto Destiny;^H4507
