And^G2532 beginning^G756 from^G575 Moses^G3475 and^G2532 from^G575 all^G3956 the prophets,^G4396 he interpreted^G1329 to them^G846 in^G1722 all^G3956 the scriptures^G1124 the things^G3588 concerning^G4012 himself.^G1438

But^G1161 the things^G3588 which^G3739 God^G2316 foreshowed^G4293 by^G1223 the mouth^G4750 of all^G3956 the prophets,^G4396 that^G3958 his^G846 Christ^G5547 should suffer,^G3958 he ^G4137 thus^G3779 fulfilled.^G4137

Yea^G1161 and^G2532 all^G3956 the prophets^G4396 from^G575 Samuel^G4545 and^G2532 them that followed after,^G2517 as many as^G3745 have spoken,^G2980 they^G4293 also^G2532 told^G4293 of^G2250 these^G3778 days.^G2250

And^G1161 when they had appointed^G5021 him^G846 a day,^G2250 they came^G2240 to^G4314 him^G846 into^G1519 his lodging^G3578 in great number;^G4119 to whom^G3739 he expounded^G1620 [the matter,] testifying^G1263 the kingdom^G932 of God,^G2316 and^G5037 persuading^G3982 them^G846 concerning^G4012 Jesus,^G2424 both^G5037 from^G575 the law^G3551 of Moses^G3475 and^G2532 from the prophets,^G4396 from^G575 morning^G4404 till^G2193 evening.^G2073

Concerning^G4012 which^G3739 salvation^G4991 the prophets^G4396 sought^G1567 and^G2532 searched diligently,^G1830 who prophesied^G4395 of^G4012 the grace^G5485 that [should come] unto^G1519 you:^G5209

For^G1063 it were better^G2909 for^G1063 them^G846 not^G3361 to have known^G1921 the way^G3598 of righteousness,^G1343 than,^G2228 after knowing^G1921 it, to turn^G1994 back from^G1537 the^G1785 holy^G40 commandment^G1785 delivered^G3860 unto them.^G846

We^G2249 are^G2070 of^G1537 God:^G2316 he that knoweth^G1097 God^G2316 heareth^G191 us;^G2257 he who^G3739 is^G2076 not^G3756 of^G1537 God^G2316 heareth^G191 us^G2257 not.^G3756 By^G1537 this^G5127 we^G1097 know the spirit^G4151 of truth,^G225 and^G2532 the spirit^G4151 of error.^G4106

And^G2532 I fell^G4098 down before^G1715 his^G846 feet^G4228 to worship^G4352 him.^G846 And^G2532 he saith^G3004 unto me,^G3427 See^G3708 thou do it not:^G3361 I am^G1510 a fellow-servant^G4889 with thee^G4675 and^G2532 with thy^G4675 brethren^G80 that hold^G2192 the testimony^G3141 of Jesus:^G2424 worship^G4352 God;^G2316 for^G1063 the testimony^G3141 of Jesus^G2424 is^G2076 the spirit^G4151 of prophecy.^G4394
