And David^H1732 dwelt^H3427 in the stronghold,^H4686 and called^H7121 it the city^H5892 of David.^H1732 And David^H1732 built^H1129 round about^H5439 from Millo^H4407 and inward.^H1004

And it was told^H5046 king^H4428 David,^H1732 saying,^H559 Jehovah^H3068 hath blessed^H1288 the house^H1004 of Obed-edom,^H5654 and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark^H727 of God.^H430 And David^H1732 went^H3212 and brought up^H5927 the ark^H727 of God^H430 from the house^H1004 of Obed-edom^H5654 into the city^H5892 of David^H1732 with joy.^H8057

And David^H1732 slept^H7901 with his fathers,^H1 and was buried^H6912 in the city^H5892 of David.^H1732

Then Solomon^H8010 assembled^H6950 the elders^H2205 of Israel,^H3478 and all the heads^H7218 of the tribes,^H4294 the princes^H5387 of the fathers'^H1 [houses] of the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 unto king^H4428 Solomon^H8010 in Jerusalem,^H3389 to bring up^H5927 the ark^H727 of the covenant^H1285 of Jehovah^H3068 out of the city^H5892 of David,^H1732 which is Zion.^H6726

Then Solomon^H8010 assembled^H6950 the elders^H2205 of Israel,^H3478 and all the heads^H7218 of the tribes,^H4294 the princes^H5387 of the fathers'^H1 [houses] of the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 unto Jerusalem,^H3389 to bring up^H5927 the ark^H727 of the covenant^H1285 of Jehovah^H3068 out of the city^H5892 of David,^H1732 which is Zion.^H6726

And the fountain^H5869 gate^H8179 repaired^H2388 Shallun^H7968 the son^H1121 of Col-hozeh,^H3626 the ruler^H8269 of the district^H6418 of Mizpah;^H4709 he built^H1129 it, and covered^H2926 it, and set up^H5975 the doors^H1817 thereof, the bolts^H4514 thereof, and the bars^H1280 thereof, and the wall^H2346 of the pool^H1295 of Shelah^H7975 by the king's^H4428 garden,^H1588 even unto the stairs^H4609 that go down^H3381 from the city^H5892 of David.^H1732

Sing praises^H2167 to Jehovah,^H3068 who dwelleth^H3427 in Zion:^H6726 Declare^H5046 among the people^H5971 his doings.^H5949

Walk about^H5437 Zion,^H6726 and go round about^H5362 her; Number^H5608 the towers^H4026 thereof;

Jehovah^H3068 loveth^H157 the gates^H8179 of Zion^H6726 More than all the dwellings^H4908 of Jacob.^H3290

Cry aloud^H6670 and shout,^H7442 thou inhabitant^H3427 of Zion;^H6726 for great^H1419 in the midst^H7130 of thee is the Holy One^H6918 of Israel.^H3478

And many^H7227 nations^H1471 shall go^H1980 and say,^H559 Come^H3212 ye, and let us go up^H5927 to the mountain^H2022 of Jehovah,^H3068 and to the house^H1004 of the God^H430 of Jacob;^H3290 and he will teach^H3384 us of his ways,^H1870 and we will walk^H3212 in his paths.^H734 For out of Zion^H6726 shall go forth^H3318 the law,^H8451 and the word^H1697 of Jehovah^H3068 from Jerusalem;^H3389

but^G235 ye are come^G4334 unto mount^G3735 Zion,^G4622 and^G2532 unto the city^G4172 of the living^G2198 God,^G2316 the heavenly^G2032 Jerusalem,^G2419 and^G2532 to innumerable hosts^G3461 of angels,^G32
