Then he answered^H6030 and spake^H559 unto me, saying,^H559 This is the word^H1697 of Jehovah^H3068 unto Zerubbabel,^H2216 saying,^H559 Not by might,^H2428 nor by power,^H3581 but by my Spirit,^H7307 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635

Behold,^G2400 I have given^G1325 you^G5213 authority^G1849 to tread^G3961 upon^G1883 serpents^G3789 and^G2532 scorpions,^G4651 and^G2532 over^G1909 all^G3956 the power^G1411 of the enemy:^G2190 and^G2532 nothing^{G3762 G3756} shall^G91 in any wise^G3361 hurt^G91 you.^G5209

And^G2532 behold,^G2400 I^G1473 send^G649 forth the promise^G1860 of my^G3450 Father^G3962 upon^G1909 you:^G5209 but^G1161 tarry^G2523 ye^G5210 in^G1722 the city,^{G4172 G2419} until^G2193 ye^G3739 be clothed^G1746 with power^G1411 from^G1537 on high.^G5311

But^G235 ye shall receive^G2983 power,^G1411 when^G1904 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 is come^G1904 upon^G1909 you:^G5209 and^G2532 ye shall be^G2071 my^G3427 witnesses^G3144 both^G5037 in^G1722 Jerusalem,^G2419 and^G2532 in^G1722 all^G3956 Judaea^G2449 and^G2532 Samaria,^G4540 and^G2532 unto^G2193 the uttermost^G2078 part of the earth.^G1093

But^G1161 Saul^G4569 increased^G1743 the more^G3123 in strength,^G1743 and^G2532 confounded^G4797 the Jews^G2453 that^G3588 dwelt^G2730 at^G1722 Damascus,^G1154 proving^G4822 that^G3754 this^G3778 is^G2076 the^G3588 Christ.^G5547

But^G235 I^G2192 hold not^G3762 my^G3450 life^G5590 of any account as dear^G5093 unto myself,^G1683 so^G5613 that I may accomplish^G5048 my^G3450 course,^G1408 and^G2532 the ministry^G1248 which^G3739 I received^G2983 from the Lord^G2962 Jesus,^G2424 to testify^G1263 the gospel^G2098 of^G3844 the grace^G5485 of God.^G2316

And^G2532 punishing^G5097 them^G846 oftentimes^G4178 in^G2596 all^G3956 the synagogues,^G4864 I strove to make^G315 them blaspheme;^G987 and^G5037 being^G1693 exceedingly^G4057 mad^G1693 against them,^G846 I persecuted^G1377 them even^{G2193 G2532} unto^G1519 foreign^G1854 cities.^G4172

and^G1161 hope^G1680 putteth^G2617 not^G3756 to shame;^G2617 because^G3754 the love^G26 of God^G2316 hath been shed abroad^G1632 in^G1722 our^G2257 hearts^G2588 through^G1223 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 which was given^G1325 unto us.^G2254

And^G2532 my^G3450 speech^G3056 and^G2532 my^G3450 preaching^G2782 were not^G3756 in^G1722 persuasive^G3981 words^G3056 of ^G442 wisdom,^G4678 but^G235 in^G1722 demonstration^G585 of the Spirit^G4151 and^G2532 of power:^G1411

But^G1161 the fruit^G2590 of the Spirit^G4151 is^G2076 love,^G26 joy,^G5479 peace,^G1515 longsuffering,^G3115 kindness,^G5544 goodness,^G19 faithfulness,^G4102

and^G2532 might deliver^G525 all them^G5128 who^G3745 through^G1223 fear^G5401 of death^G2288 were^G2258 all^G3956 their lifetime^G2198 subject^G1777 to bondage.^G1397

There is^G2076 no^G3756 fear^G5401 in^G1722 love:^G26 but^G235 perfect^G5046 love^G26 casteth^G906 out^G1854 fear,^G5401 because^G3754 fear^G5401 hath^G2192 punishment;^G2851 and he that feareth^G5399 is^G5048 not^G3756 made perfect^G5048 in^G1722 love.^G1161
