TSK · 2 Timothy 2:14

and turn ye not aside;^H5493 for [then would ye go] after^H310 vain^H8414 things which cannot profit^H3276 nor deliver,^H5337 for they are vain.^H8414

Hath a nation^H1471 changed^H3235 [its] gods,^H430 which yet are no gods?^H430 but my people^H5971 have changed^H4171 their glory^H3519 for that which doth not profit.^H3276

O Jehovah,^H3068 my strength,^H5797 and my stronghold,^H5797 and my refuge^H4498 in the day^H3117 of affliction,^H6869 unto thee shall the nations^H1471 come^H935 from the ends^H657 of the earth,^H776 and shall say,^H559 Our fathers^H1 have inherited^H5157 nought but lies,^H8267 [even] vanity^H1892 and things wherein there is no profit.^H3276

And the burden^H4853 of Jehovah^H3068 shall ye mention^H2142 no more: for every man's^H376 own word^H1697 shall be his burden;^H4853 for ye have perverted^H2015 the words^H1697 of the living^H2416 God,^H430 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 our God.^H430

For^G1063 what^G5101 shall^G5623 a man^G444 be profited,^G5623 if^G1437 he shall gain^G2770 the^G2889 whole^G3650 world,^G2889 and^G1161 forfeit^G2210 his^G846 life?^G5590 or^G2228 what^G5101 shall^G1325 a man^G444 give^G1325 in exchange^G465 for^G5590 his^G846 life?^G5590

Forasmuch as^G1894 we have heard^G191 that^G3754 certain^G5100 who went out^G1831 from^G1537 us^G2257 have troubled^G5015 you^G5209 with words,^G3056 subverting^G384 your^G5216 souls;^G5590 to whom^G3739 we gave^G1291 no^G3756 commandment;^G1291

neither^G3366 to give heed to^G4337 fables^G3454 and^G2532 endless^G562 genealogies,^G1076 which^G3748 minister^G3930 questionings,^G2214 rather^G3123 than^G2228 a dispensation^G3620 of God^G2316 which is^G3588 in^G1722 faith;^G4102 [so do I now].

for^G1063 bodily^G4984 exercise^G1129 is^G2076 profitable^G5624 for a little;^G3641 but^G1161 godliness^G2150 is^G2076 profitable^G5624 for all things,^G3956 having^G2192 promise^G1860 of the life^G2222 which now is,^G3568 and^G2532 of that which is to come.^G3195

he is puffed^G5187 up, knowing^G1987 nothing,^G3367 but^G235 doting^G3552 about^G4012 questionings^G2214 and^G2532 disputes of words,^G3055 whereof^{G3739 G1537} cometh^G1096 envy,^G5355 strife,^G2054 railings,^G988 evil^G4190 surmisings,^G5283

For which^G1223 cause I put^G363 thee^G4571 in remembrance^G363 that thou stir up^G329 the gift^G5486 of God,^G2316 which^G3739 is^G2076 in^G1722 thee^G4671 through^G1223 the laying on^G1936 of my^G3450 hands.^G156

But^G1161 foolish^G3474 and^G2532 ignorant^G521 questionings^G2214 refuse,^G3868 knowing^G1492 that^G3754 they gender^G1080 strifes.^G3163

but^G1161 shun^G4026 foolish^G3474 questionings,^G2214 and^G2532 genealogies,^G1076 and^G2532 strifes,^G2054 and^G2532 fightings^G3163 about law;^G3544 for^G1063 they are^G1526 unprofitable^G512 and^G2532 vain.^G3152

And^G1161 I think it^G2233 right,^G1909 as long as^G3745 I am^G1510 in^G1722 this^G5129 tabernacle,^G4638 to stir^G1326 you^G5209 up^G1326 by putting^G5280 you in^G1722 remembrance;^G5280
