But Daniel^H1840 purposed^H7760 in his heart^H3820 that he would not defile^H1351 himself with the^H6598 king's^H4428 dainties,^H6598 nor with the wine^H3196 which he drank:^H4960 therefore he requested^H1245 of the prince^H8269 of the eunuchs^H5631 that he might not defile^H1351 himself.

For^G1063 the time^G2540 will come^G2071 when^G3753 they will^G430 not^G3756 endure^G430 the sound^G5198 doctrine;^G1319 but,^G235 having itching^G2833 ears,^G189 will heap^G2002 to themselves^G1438 teachers^G1320 after^G2596 their own^G2398 lusts;^G1939

Be^G4064 not^G3361 carried away^G4064 by divers^G4164 and^G2532 strange^G3581 teachings:^G1322 for^G1063 it is good^G2570 that^G2570 the heart^G2588 be established^G950 by grace;^G5485 not^G3756 by meats,^G1033 wherein^{G3739 G1722} they that occupied^G4043 themselves were^G5623 not^G3756 profited.^G5623

Seeing that^G3767 these things^G5130 are thus all^G3956 to be dissolved,^G3089 what manner^G4217 of persons ought^G1163 ye^G5209 to be^G5225 in^G1722 [all] holy^G40 living^G391 and^G2532 godliness,^G2150
