TSK · 2 Timothy 4:3

Then said^H559 Elijah^H452 unto the people,^H5971 I, even I only, am left^H3498 a prophet^H5030 of Jehovah;^H3068 but Baal's^H1168 prophets^H5030 are four^H702 hundred^H3967 and fifty^H2572 men.^H376

And the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 said^H559 to Jehoshaphat,^H3092 Did I not tell^H559 thee that he would not prophesy^H5012 good^H2896 concerning me, but evil?^H7451

And Jehoshaphat^H3092 said^H559 unto the king^H4428 of Israel,^H3478 Inquire^H1875 first,^H3117 I pray thee, for the word^H1697 of Jehovah.^H3068

Wherefore the anger^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 was kindled^H2734 against Amaziah,^H558 and he sent^H7971 unto him a prophet,^H5030 who said^H559 unto him, Why hast thou sought^H1875 after the gods^H430 of the people,^H5971 which have not delivered^H5337 their own people^H5971 out of thy hand?^H3027

The land^H776 mourneth^H56 and languisheth;^H535 Lebanon^H3844 is confounded^H2659 and withereth away;^H7060 Sharon^H8289 is like a desert;^H6160 and Bashan^H1316 and Carmel^H3760 shake off^H5287 [their leaves].

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Stand^H5975 ye in the ways^H1870 and see,^H7200 and ask^H7592 for the old^H5769 paths,^H5410 where is the good^H2896 way;^H1870 and walk^H3212 therein, and ye shall find^H4672 rest^H4771 for your souls:^H5315 but they said,^H559 We will not walk^H3212 [therein].

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 Hearken^H8085 not unto the words^H1697 of the prophets^H5030 that prophesy^H5012 unto you: they teach you vanity;^H1891 they speak^H1696 a vision^H2377 of their own heart,^H3820 and not out of the mouth^H6310 of Jehovah.^H3068

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel:^H3478 Let not your prophets^H5030 that are in the midst^H7130 of you, and your diviners,^H7080 deceive^H5377 you; neither hearken^H8085 ye to your dreams^H2472 which ye cause to be dreamed.^H2492

If^H3863 a man^H376 walking^H1980 in a spirit^H7307 of falsehood^H8267 do lie,^H3576 [saying], I will prophesy^H5197 unto thee of wine^H3196 and of strong drink;^H7941 he shall even be the prophet^H5197 of this people.^H5971

And^G2532 the scribes^G1122 and^G2532 the chief priests^G749 sought^G2212 to lay^G1911 hands^G5495 on^G1909 him^G846 in^G1722 that very^G846 hour;^G5610 and^G2532 they feared^G5399 the people:^G2992 for^G1063 they perceived^G1097 that^G3754 he spake^G2036 this^G3778 parable^G3850 against^G4314 them.^G846

But^G1161 because^G3754 I^G1473 say^G3004 the truth,^G225 ye believe^G4100 me^G3427 not.^G3756

And I,^G2504 brethren,^G80 when I came^G2064 unto^G4314 you,^G5209 came^G2064 not^G3756 with^G2596 excellency^G5247 of speech^G3056 or^G2228 of wisdom,^G4678 proclaiming^G2605 to you^G5213 the testimony^G3142 of God.^G2316

So^G5620 then am I^G1096 become^G1096 your^G5216 enemy,^G2190 by telling^G226 you^G5213 the truth?^G226

But^G1161 the Spirit^G4151 saith^G3004 expressly,^G4490 that^G3754 in^G1722 later^G5306 times^G2540 some^G5100 shall fall away from^G868 the faith,^G4102 giving heed to^G4337 seducing^G4108 spirits^G4151 and^G2532 doctrines^G1319 of demons,^G1140

But^G1161 there arose^G1096 false prophets^G5578 also^G2532 among^G1722 the people,^G2992 as^G5613 among^G1722 you^G5213 also^G2532 there shall be^G2071 false teachers,^G5572 who^G3748 shall privily bring in^G3919 destructive^G684 heresies,^G139 denying^G720 even^G2532 the Master^G1203 that bought^G59 them,^G846 bringing upon^G1863 themselves^G1438 swift^G5031 destruction.^G684
