Whether it were two days,^H3117 or a month,^H2320 or a year,^H3117 that the cloud^H6051 tarried^H748 upon the tabernacle,^H4908 abiding^H7931 thereon, the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 remained encamped,^H2583 and journeyed^H5265 not; but when it was taken up,^H5927 they journeyed.^H5265

If^G1487 ye^G5210 then,^G3767 being^G5225 evil,^G4190 know how^G1492 to give^G1325 good^G18 gifts^G1390 unto^G5043 your^G5216 children,^G5043 how much^G4214 more^G3123 shall [your]^G1537 heavenly^G3772 Father^G3962 give^G1325 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 to them that ask^G154 him?^G846

And^G1161 while they^G846 still^G2089 disbelieved^G569 for^G575 joy,^G5479 and^G2532 wondered,^G2296 he said^G2036 unto them,^G846 Have ye^G2192 here^G1759 anything^G5100 to eat?^G1034

But^G1161 this^G5124 spake he^G2036 of^G4012 the Spirit,^G4151 which^G3739 they that believed^G4100 on^G1519 him^G846 were^G3195 to receive:^G2983 for^G1063 the^{G4151 G40} Spirit^G4151 was^G2258 not yet^G3768 [given]; because^G3754 Jesus^G2424 was^G1392 not yet^G3764 glorified.^G1392

But^G1161 the Comforter,^G3875 [even] the Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 whom^G3739 the Father^G3962 will send^G3992 in^G1722 my^G3450 name,^G3686 he^G1565 shall teach^G1321 you^G5209 all things,^G3956 and^G2532 bring^G5279 to your^G5209 remembrance^G5279 all^G3956 that^G3739 I said^G2036 unto you.^G5213

Nevertheless^G235 I^G1473 tell^G3004 you^G5213 the truth:^G225 It is expedient^G4851 for you^G5213 that^G2443 I^G1473 go away;^G565 for^G1063 if^G1437 I go^G565 not^G3361 away,^G565 the Comforter^G3875 will^G2064 not^G3756 come^G2064 unto^G4314 you;^G5209 but^G1161 if^G1437 I go,^G4198 I will send^G3992 him^G846 unto^G4314 you.^G5209

Being^G5312 therefore^G3767 by the right hand^G1188 of God^G2316 exalted,^G5312 and^G5037 having received^G2983 of^G3844 the^G4151 Father^G3962 the promise^G1860 of the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 he hath poured forth^G1632 this,^G5124 which^G3739 ye^G5210 see^G991 and^G2532 hear.^G191
