And when Phinehas^H6372 the priest,^H3548 and the princes^H5387 of the congregation,^H5712 even the heads^H7218 of the thousands^H505 of Israel^H3478 that were with him, heard^H8085 the words^H1697 that the children^H1121 of Reuben^H7205 and the children^H1121 of Gad^H1410 and the children^H1121 of Manasseh^H4519 spake,^H1696 it pleased^H3190 them well.

to appoint^H7760 unto them that mourn^H57 in Zion,^H6726 to give^H5414 unto them a garland^H6287 for ashes,^H665 the oil^H8081 of joy^H8342 for mourning,^H60 the garment^H4594 of praise^H8416 for the spirit^H7307 of heaviness;^H3544 that they may be called^H7121 trees^H352 of righteousness,^H6664 the planting^H4302 of Jehovah,^H3068 that he may be glorified.^H6286

A new^H2319 heart^H3820 also will I give^H5414 you, and a new^H2319 spirit^H7307 will I put^H5414 within^H7130 you; and I will take away^H5493 the stony^H68 heart^H3820 out of your flesh,^H1320 and I will give^H5414 you a heart^H3820 of flesh.^H1320

Repent ye^G3340 therefore,^G3767 and^G2532 turn again,^G1994 that^G1519 your^G5216 sins^G266 may be blotted out,^G1813 that so^G3704 there^G302 may come^G2064 seasons^G2540 of refreshing^G403 from^G575 the presence^G4383 of the Lord;^G2962

Him^G5126 did^G5312 God^G2316 exalt^G5312 with^G1188 his^G846 right hand^G1188 [to be] a Prince^G747 and^G2532 a Saviour,^G4990 to give^G1325 repentance^G3341 to Israel,^G2474 and^G2532 remission^G859 of sins.^G266

For^G1063 so^G3779 hath^G1781 the Lord^G2962 commanded^G1781 us,^G2254 [saying], I have set^G5087 thee^G4571 for^G1519 a light^G5457 of the Gentiles,^G1484 That thou^G4571 shouldest be^G1511 for^G1519 salvation^G4991 unto^G2193 the uttermost part^G2078 of the earth.^G1093

They therefore,^{G3767 G3303} being brought on their way^G4311 by^G5259 the church,^G1577 passed through^G1330 both Phoenicia^G5403 and^G2532 Samaria,^G4540 declaring^G1555 the conversion^G1995 of the Gentiles:^G1484 and^G2532 they caused^G4160 great^G3173 joy^G5479 unto all^G3956 the brethren.^G80

delivering^G1807 thee^G4571 from^G1537 the people,^G2992 and^G2532 from the Gentiles,^G1484 unto^G1519 whom^{G3739 G3568} I send^G649 thee,^G4571

What^G5101 shall we say^G2046 then?^G3767 That^G3754 the Gentiles,^G1484 who followed^G1377 not^G3361 after^G1377 righteousness,^G1343 attained to^G2638 righteousness,^G1343 even^G1161 the righteousness^G1343 which is^G3588 of^G1537 faith:^G4102

and^G1161 that^G1392 the Gentiles^G1484 might glorify^G1392 God^G2316 for^G5228 his mercy;^G1656 as^G2531 it is written,^G1125 Therefore^{G1223 G5124} will I give praise^G1843 unto thee^G4671 among^G1722 the Gentiles,^G1484 And^G2532 sing^G5567 unto^G3686 thy^G4675 name.^G3686

For^{G1063 G2596} godly^G2316 sorrow^G3077 worketh^G2716 repentance^G3341 unto^G1519 salvation,^G4991 [a repentance]^G278 which bringeth no regret: but^G1161 the sorrow^G3077 of the world^G2889 worketh^G2716 death.^G2288

For^G1063 ye are^G2075 all^G3956 sons^G5207 of God,^G2316 through^G1223 faith,^G4102 in^G1722 Christ^G5547 Jesus.^G2424

which^G3739 in^G1722 other^G2087 generations^G1074 was^G1107 not^G3756 made known^G1107 unto the sons^G5207 of men,^G444 as^G5613 it hath^G601 now^G3568 been revealed^G601 unto^G3588 his^G846 holy^G40 apostles^G652 and^G2532 prophets^G4396 in^G1722 the Spirit;^G4151

Be^G4105 not^G3361 deceived,^G4105 my^G3450 beloved^G27 brethren.^G80
