And I will establish^H6965 my covenant^H1285 between me and thee and thy seed^H2233 after thee^H310 throughout their generations^H1755 for an everlasting^H5769 covenant,^H1285 to be a God^H430 unto thee and to thy seed^H2233 after thee.^H310

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Moses,^H4872 Now shalt thou see^H7200 what I will do^H6213 to Pharaoh:^H6547 for by a strong^H2389 hand^H3027 shall he let them go,^H7971 and by a strong^H2389 hand^H3027 shall he drive them out^H1644 of his land.^H776

And it shall be for a sign^H226 upon thy hand,^H3027 and for frontlets^H2903 between thine eyes:^H5869 for by strength^H2392 of hand^H3027 Jehovah^H3068 brought us forth^H3318 out of Egypt.^H4714

Now I know^H3045 that Jehovah^H3068 is greater^H1419 than all gods;^H430 yea, in the thing^H1697 wherein they dealt proudly^H2102 against them.

Or hath God^H430 assayed^H5254 to go^H935 and take^H3947 him a nation^H1471 from the midst^H7130 of [another] nation,^H1471 by trials,^H4531 by signs,^H226 and by wonders,^H4159 and by war,^H4421 and by a mighty^H2389 hand,^H3027 and by an outstretched^H5186 arm,^H2220 and by great^H1419 terrors,^H4172 according to all that Jehovah^H3068 your God^H430 did^H6213 for you in Egypt^H4714 before your eyes?^H5869

For thou art a holy^H6918 people^H5971 unto Jehovah^H3068 thy God:^H430 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 hath chosen^H977 thee to be a people^H5971 for his own possession,^H5459 above all peoples^H5971 that are upon the face^H6440 of the earth.^H127

Not for thy righteousness,^H6666 or for the uprightness^H3476 of thy heart,^H3824 dost thou go^H935 in to possess^H3423 their land;^H776 but for the wickedness^H7564 of these nations^H1471 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 doth drive them out^H3423 from before^H6440 thee, and that he may establish^H6965 the word^H1697 which Jehovah^H3068 sware^H7650 unto thy fathers,^H1 to Abraham,^H85 to Isaac,^H3327 and to Jacob.^H3290

For thou art a holy^H6918 people^H5971 unto Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 and Jehovah^H3068 hath chosen^H977 thee to be a people^H5971 for his own possession,^H5459 above all peoples^H5971 that are upon^H6440 the face of the earth.^H127

Thou art Jehovah^H3068 the God,^H430 who didst choose^H977 Abram,^H87 and broughtest him forth^H3318 out of Ur^H218 of the Chaldees,^H3778 and gavest^H7760 him the name^H8034 of Abraham,^H85

Marvellous things^H6382 did^H6213 he in the sight^H5048 of their fathers,^H1 In the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 in the field^H7704 of Zoan.^H6814

O ye seed^H2233 of Abraham^H85 his servant,^H5650 Ye children^H1121 of Jacob,^H3290 his chosen^H972 ones.

He sent^H7971 Moses^H4872 his servant,^H5650 [And] Aaron^H175 whom he had chosen.^H977

Our fathers^H1 understood^H7919 not thy wonders^H6381 in Egypt;^H4714 They remembered^H2142 not the multitude^H7230 of thy lovingkindnesses,^H2617 But were rebellious^H4784 at the sea,^H3220 even at the Red^H5488 Sea.^H3220

For Jehovah^H3050 hath chosen^H977 Jacob^H3290 unto himself, [And] Israel^H3478 for his own possession.^H5459

To him that smote^H5221 Egypt^H4714 in their first-born;^H1060 For his lovingkindness^H2617 [endureth] for ever;^H5769

Yet now hear,^H8085 O Jacob^H3290 my servant,^H5650 and Israel,^H3478 who I have chosen:^H977

who didst set^H7760 signs^H226 and wonders^H4159 in the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 even unto this day,^H3117 both in Israel^H3478 and among [other] men;^H120 and madest^H6213 thee a name,^H8034 as at this day;^H3117

Also I brought you up^H5927 out of the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 and led^H3212 you forty^H705 years^H8141 in the wilderness,^H4057 to possess^H3423 the land^H776 of the Amorite.^H567

As in the days^H3117 of thy coming^H3318 forth out of the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714 will I show^H7200 unto them marvellous^H6381 things.

But^G1161 ye^G5210 are an elect^G1588 race,^G1085 a royal^G934 priesthood,^G2406 a holy^G40 nation,^G1484 a ^G1519 people^G2992 for [God's] own possession,^G4047 that^G3704 ye may show forth^G1804 the excellencies^G703 of him who called^G2564 you^G5209 out of^G1537 darkness^G4655 into^G1519 his^G846 marvellous^G2298 light:^G5457
