Once^H259 have I sworn^H7650 by my holiness:^H6944 I will not lie^H3576 unto David:^H1732

And he said,^H559 Hear^H8085 ye now, O house^H1004 of David:^H1732 Is it a small thing^H4592 for you to weary^H3811 men,^H582 that ye will weary^H3811 my God^H430 also?

And it shall come to pass in that day,^H3117 that the root^H8328 of Jesse,^H3448 that standeth^H5975 for an ensign^H5251 of the peoples,^H5971 unto him shall the nations^H1471 seek;^H1875 and his resting-place^H4496 shall be glorious.^H3519

Declare^H5046 ye, and bring [it] forth;^H5066 yea, let them take counsel^H3289 together:^H3162 who hath showed^H5046 this from ancient time?^H6924 who hath declared^H5046 it of old? have not I, Jehovah?^H3068 and there is no God^H430 else besides^H1107 me, a just^H6662 God^H410 and a Saviour;^H3467 there is none^H369 besides^H2108 me.

In those days,^H3117 and at that time,^H6256 will I cause a Branch^H6780 of righteousness^H6666 to grow up^H6779 unto David;^H1732 and he shall execute^H6213 justice^H4941 and righteousness^H6666 in the land.^H776

Rejoice^H1523 greatly,^H3966 O daughter^H1323 of Zion;^H6726 shout,^H7321 O daughter^H1323 of Jerusalem:^H3389 behold, thy king^H4428 cometh^H935 unto thee; he is just,^H6662 and having salvation;^H3467 lowly,^H6041 and riding^H7392 upon an ass,^H2543 even upon a colt^H5895 the foal^H1121 of an ass.^H860

And^G1161 she shall bring forth^G5088 a son;^G5207 and^G2532 thou shalt call^G2564 his^G846 name^G3686 JESUS;^G2424 for^G1063 it is he^G846 that shall save^G4982 his^G846 people^G2992 from^G575 their^G846 sins.^G266

saying,^G3004 What^G5101 think^G1380 ye^G5213 of^G4012 the Christ?^G5547 whose^G5101 son^G5207 is he?^G2076 They say^G3004 unto him,^G846 [The son] of David.^G1138

And^G2532 hath raised up^G1453 a horn^G2768 of salvation^G4991 for us^G2254 In^G1722 the house^G3624 of^G3816 his^G846 servant^G3816 David^G1138

and^G5037 they said^G3004 to the woman,^G3754 Now^G3765 we believe,^G4100 not^G3765 because^G1223 of^G2981 thy^G4674 speaking:^G2981 for^G1063 we have heard^G191 for^G1063 ourselves,^G846 and^G2532 know^G1492 that^G3754 this^G3778 is^G2076 indeed^G230 the Saviour^G4990 of the world.^G2889

Being^G5225 therefore^G3767 a prophet,^G4396 and^G2532 knowing^G1492 that^G3754 God^G2316 had sworn^G3660 with an oath^G3727 to him,^G846 that^G3660 of^G1537 the fruit^G2590 of his^G846 loins^G3751 he would set one^G1909 upon his^G846 throne;^G2362

Unto you^G5213 first^G4412 God,^G2316 having raised up^G450 his^G846 Servant,^{G3816 G2424} sent^G649 him^G846 to bless^G2127 you,^G5209 in^G1722 turning away^G654 every one of you^G1538 from^G575 your^G5216 iniquities.^G4189

The God^G2316 of^G3962 our^G2257 fathers^G3962 raised up^G1453 Jesus,^G2424 whom^G3739 ye^G5210 slew,^G1315 hanging^G2910 him on^G1909 a tree.^G3586

concerning^G4012 his^G846 Son,^G5207 who^G3588 was born^G1096 of^G1537 the seed^G4690 of David^G1138 according to^G2596 the flesh,^G4561

to Titus,^G5103 my true^G1103 child^G5043 after^G2596 a common^G2839 faith:^G4102 Grace^{G5485 G1656} and peace^G1515 from^G575 God^G2316 the Father^G3962 and^{G2532 G2962} Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 our^G2257 Saviour.^G4990

For^G1063 we^G2249 also^G2532 once^G4218 were^G1510 foolish,^G453 disobedient,^G545 deceived,^G4105 serving^G1398 divers^G4164 lusts^G1939 and^G2532 pleasures,^G2237 living^G1236 in^G1722 malice^G2549 and^G2532 envy,^G5355 hateful,^G4767 hating^G3404 one another.^G240

for^G1063 thus^G3779 shall be richly^G4146 supplied^G2023 unto you^G5213 the entrance^G1529 into^G1519 the eternal^G166 kingdom^G932 of^G2962 our^G2257 Lord^G2962 and^G2532 Saviour^G4990 Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547

that ye should remember^G3415 the words^G4487 which were spoken before^G4280 by^G5259 the holy^G40 prophets,^G4396 and^G2532 the commandments^G1785 of the Lord^G2962 and^G2532 Saviour^G4990 through your^G2257 apostles:^G652

And^G2532 we^G2249 have beheld^G2300 and^G2532 bear witness^G3140 that^G3754 the Father^G3962 hath sent^G649 the Son^G5207 [to be] the Saviour^G4990 of the world.^G2889

I^G1473 Jesus^G2424 have sent^G3992 mine^G3450 angel^G32 to testify^G3140 unto you^G5213 these things^G5023 for^G1909 the churches.^G1577 I^G1473 am^G1510 the root^G4491 and^G2532 the offspring^G1085 of David,^G1138 the bright,^G2986 the^G2532 morning^G3720 star.^G792
