Howbeit Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 chose^H977 me out of all the house^H1004 of my father^H1 to be king^H4428 over Israel^H3478 for ever:^H5769 for he hath chosen^H977 Judah^H3063 to be prince;^H5057 and in the house^H1004 of Judah,^H3063 the house^H1004 of my father;^H1 and among the sons^H1121 of my father^H1 he took pleasure^H7521 in me to make me king^H4427 over all Israel;^H3478

And^G1161 I^G2504 also^G2504 say^G3004 unto thee,^G4671 that^G3754 thou^G4771 art^G1488 Peter,^G4074 and^G2532 upon^G1909 this^G3778 rock^G4073 I will build^G3618 my^G3450 church;^G1577 and^G2532 the gates^G4439 of Hades^G86 shall^G2729 not^G3756 prevail against^G2729 it.^G846

Ye did^G5210 not^G3756 choose^G1586 me,^G3165 but^G235 I^G1473 chose^G1586 you,^G5209 and^G2532 appointed^G5087 you,^G5209 that^G2443 ye^G5210 should go^G5217 and^G2532 bear^G5342 fruit,^G2590 and^G2532 [that] your^G5216 fruit^G2590 should abide:^G3306 that^{G2443 G5100} whatsoever^G302 ye shall ask^G154 of the Father^G3962 in^G1722 my^G3450 name,^G3686 he may give it^G1325 you.^G5213

And^G2532 they prayed,^G4336 and^G2532 said,^G2036 Thou,^G4771 Lord,^G2962 who knowest the hearts^G2589 of all^G3956 men, show^G322 of^G1537 these^G5130 two^G1417 the^G3739 one^G1520 whom thou hast chosen,^G1586

who^G3588 by^G1223 the Holy Spirit, [by] the mouth^G4750 of our father David^G1138 thy^G4675 servant,^G3816 didst say,^G2036 Why^G2444 did^G5433 the Gentiles^G1484 rage,^G5433 And^G2532 the peoples^G2992 imagine^G3191 vain things?^G2756

And^G2532 now^G3568 send^G3992 men^G435 to^G1519 Joppa,^G2445 and^G2532 fetch^G3343 one Simon,^G4613 who^G3739 is^G1941 surnamed Peter:^G4074

Send^G3992 therefore^G3767 to^G1519 Joppa,^G2445 and^G2532 call unto thee^G3333 Simon,^G4613 who^G3739 is^G1941 surnamed Peter;^G4074 he^G3778 lodgeth^G3579 in^G1722 the house^G3614 of^G4613 Simon^G4613 a tanner,^G1038 by^G3844 the sea side.^G2281
