Then Laban^H3837 and Bethuel^H1328 answered^H6030 and said,^H559 The thing^H1697 proceedeth^H3318 from Jehovah:^H3068 we cannot^H3201 speak^H1696 unto thee bad^H7451 or^H176 good.^H2896

In times past,^H865 when Saul^H7586 was king^H4428 over us, it was thou that leddest out^H3318 and broughtest in^H935 Israel:^H3478 and Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 to thee, Thou shalt be shepherd^H7462 of my people^H5971 Israel,^H3478 and thou shalt be prince^H5057 over Israel.^H3478

Whom hast thou defied^H2778 and blasphemed?^H1442 and against whom hast thou exalted^H7311 thy voice^H6963 and lifted up^H5375 thine eyes^H5869 on high?^H4791 [even] against the Holy^H6918 One of Israel.^H3478

When he giveth quietness,^H8252 who then can condemn?^H7561 And when he hideth^H5641 his face,^H6440 who then can behold^H7789 him? Alike whether [it be done] unto a nation,^H1471 or unto a^H3162 man:^H120

There is no wisdom^H2451 nor understanding^H8394 Nor counsel^H6098 against Jehovah.^H3068

Woe^H1945 unto him that striveth^H7378 with his Maker!^H3335 a potsherd^H2789 among the potsherds^H2789 of the earth!^H127 Shall the clay^H2563 say^H559 to him that fashioneth^H3335 it, What makest^H6213 thou? or thy work,^H6467 He hath no hands?^H3027

And all^H3606 the inhabitants^H1753 of the earth^H772 are reputed^H2804 as nothing;^H3809 and he doeth^H5648 according to his will^H6634 in the army^H2429 of heaven,^H8065 and among the inhabitants^H1753 of the earth;^H772 and none^H3809 can^H383 stay^H4223 his hand,^H3028 or say^H560 unto him, What^H4101 doest^H5648 thou?

for^G1063 I^G1473 will give^G1325 you^G5213 a mouth^G4750 and^G2532 wisdom,^G4678 which^G3739 all^G3956 your^G5213 adversaries^G480 shall^G1410 not^G3756 be able^G1410 to withstand^G436 or^G3761 to gainsay.^G471

Ye^G5210 stiffnecked^G4644 and^G2532 uncircumcised^G564 in heart^G2588 and^G2532 ears,^G3775 ye do^G496 always^G104 resist^G496 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit:^G4151 as^G5613 your^G5216 fathers^G3962 did, so^G2532 do ye.^G5210

If^G1487 then^{G3767 G5613} God^G2316 gave^G1325 unto them^G846 the like^G2470 gift^G1431 as^G2532 [he did] also unto us,^G2254 when we believed^G4100 on^G1909 the Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G1161 who^G5101 was^G2252 I,^G1473 that I could^G1415 withstand^G2967 God?^G2316

Because^G3754 the foolishness^G3474 of God^G2316 is^G2076 wiser^G4680 than men;^G444 and^G2532 the weakness^G772 of God^G2316 is^G2076 stronger^G2478 than men.^G444

And^G2532 the ten^G1176 horns^G2768 that^G3739 thou sawest^G1492 are^G1526 ten^G1176 kings,^G935 who^G3748 have received^G2983 no^G3768 kingdom^G932 as yet;^G3768 but^G235 they receive^G2983 authority^G1849 as^G5613 kings,^G935 with^G3326 the beast,^G2342 for one^G1520 hour.^G5610
