and I am come down^H3381 to deliver^H5337 them out of the hand^H3027 of the Egyptians,^H4714 and to bring^H5927 them up out of that land^H776 unto a good^H2896 land^H776 and a large,^H7342 unto a land^H776 flowing^H2100 with milk^H2461 and honey;^H1706 unto the place^H4725 of the Canaanite,^H3669 and the Hittite,^H2850 and the Amorite,^H567 and the Perizzite,^H6522 and the Hivite,^H2340 and the Jebusite.^H2983

Howbeit^H657 the people^H5971 that dwell^H3427 in the land^H776 are strong,^H5794 and the cities^H5892 are fortified,^H1219 [and] very^H3966 great:^H1419 and moreover we saw^H7200 the children^H3211 of Anak^H6061 there.

And Sihon^H5511 would not suffer^H5414 Israel^H3478 to pass^H5674 through his border:^H1366 but Sihon^H5511 gathered^H622 all his people^H5971 together,^H622 and went out^H3318 against^H7125 Israel^H3478 into the wilderness,^H4057 and came^H935 to Jahaz;^H3096 and he fought^H3898 against Israel.^H3478

Whither are we going up?^H5927 our brethren^H251 have made our heart^H3824 to melt,^H4549 saying,^H559 The people^H5971 are greater^H1419 and taller^H7311 than we; the cities^H5892 are great^H1419 and fortified up^H1219 to heaven;^H8064 and moreover we have seen^H7200 the sons^H1121 of the Anakim^H6062 there.

and the Jebusite,^H2983 and the Amorite,^H567 and the Girgashite,^H1622

His roots^H8328 shall be dried up^H3001 beneath, And above^H4605 shall his branch^H7105 be cut off.^H5243

To him that smote^H5221 great^H1419 kings;^H4428 For his lovingkindness^H2617 [endureth] for ever;^H5769

Say^H559 thou, Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Shall it prosper?^H6743 shall he not pull up^H5423 the roots^H8328 thereof, and cut off^H7082 the fruit^H6529 thereof, that it may wither;^H3001 that all its fresh springing^H6780 leaves^H2964 may wither?^H3001 and not by a strong^H1419 arm^H2220 or much^H7227 people^H5971 can it be raised^H5375 from the roots^H8328 thereof.
