what prayer^H8605 and supplication^H8467 soever be made by any man,^H120 [or] by all thy people^H5971 Israel,^H3478 who shall know^H3045 every man^H376 the plague^H5061 of his own heart,^H3824 and spread forth^H6566 his hands^H3709 toward this house:^H1004

if they return^H7725 unto thee with all their heart^H3824 and with all their soul^H5315 in the land^H776 of their enemies,^H341 who carried them captive,^H7617 and pray^H6419 unto thee toward^H1870 their land,^H776 which thou gavest^H5414 unto their fathers,^H1 the city^H5892 which thou hast chosen,^H977 and the house^H1004 which I have built^H1129 for thy name:^H8034

(for Solomon^H8010 had made^H6213 a brazen^H5178 scaffold,^H3595 five^H2568 cubits^H520 long,^H753 and five^H2568 cubits^H520 broad,^H7341 and three^H7969 cubits^H520 high,^H6967 and had set^H5414 it in the midst^H8432 of the court;^H5835 and upon it he stood,^H5975 and kneeled down^H1288 upon his knees^H1290 before all the assembly^H6951 of Israel,^H3478 and spread forth^H6566 his hands^H3709 toward heaven;)^H8064

And at the evening^H6153 oblation^H4503 I arose up^H6965 from my humiliation,^H8589 even with my garment^H899 and my robe^H899 tore;^H7167 and I fell^H3766 upon my knees,^H1290 and spread out^H6566 my hands^H3709 unto Jehovah^H3068 my God;^H430

But as for me, in the abundance^H7230 of thy lovingkindness^H2617 will I come^H935 into thy house:^H1004 In thy fear^H3374 will I worship^H7812 toward thy holy^H6944 temple.^H1964

And^G2532 be not^G3361 afraid^G5399 of them that kill^G615 the body,^G4983 but^G1161 are^G1410 not^G3361 able^G1410 to kill^G615 the soul:^G5590 but^G1161 rather^G3123 fear^G5399 him who is able^G1410 to destroy^G622 both^G2532 soul^G5590 and^G2532 body^G4983 in^G1722 hell.^G1067

And^G1161 I say^G3004 unto you^G5213 my^G3450 friends,^G5384 Be^G5399 not^G3361 afraid^G5399 of^G575 them that kill^G615 the body,^G4983 and^G2532 after^G3326 that^G5023 have^G2192 no^G3361 more^G4053 that^G5100 they can do.^G4160

And^G2532 he^G846 was parted^G645 from^G575 them^G846 about^G5616 a stone's^G3037 cast;^G1000 and^G2532 he kneeled^G5087 down^G1119 and prayed,^G4336

For^G1063 these^G3778 are^G3184 not^G3756 drunken,^G3184 as^G5613 ye^G5210 suppose;^G5274 seeing it is^G2076 [but]^G1063 the^G5610 third^G5154 hour^G5610 of the day.^G2250

Go^G4198 ye, and stand^G2476 and^G2532 speak^G2980 in^G1722 the temple^G2411 to the people^G2992 all^G3956 the words^G4487 of^G2222 this^G3778 Life.^G2222

And^G1161 when^G3753 it came to pass that we^G2248 had^G1096 accomplished^G1822 the days,^G2250 we^G2248 departed^G1831 and went on our journey;^G4198 and they all,^G3956 with^G4862 wives^G1135 and children,^G5043 brought^G4311 us^G2248 on our way^G4311 till^G2193 we were out of^G1854 the city:^G4172 and^G2532 kneeling down^G1119 on^G1909 the beach,^G123 we prayed,^G4336 and^G2532 bade each other farewell;

and^G2532 that most^G4119 of the brethren^G80 in^G1722 the Lord,^G2962 being confident^G3982 through^G1199 my^G3450 bonds,^G1199 are^G5111 more^G4056 abundantly bold^G5111 to speak^G2980 the word^G3056 of God without fear.^G870

In nothing^G3367 be anxious;^G3309 but^G235 in^G1722 everything^G3956 by prayer^G4335 and^G2532 supplication^G1162 with^G3326 thanksgiving^G2169 let^G1107 your^G5216 requests^G155 be made known^G1107 unto^G4314 God.^G2316

Through^G1223 him^G846 then^G3767 let us offer^G399 up a sacrifice^G2378 of praise^G133 to God^G2316 continually,^G1275 that^G5124 is,^G2076 the fruit^G2590 of^G5491 lips^G5491 which make confession^G3670 to^G3686 his^G846 name.^G3686

I know^G1492 where^G4226 thou dwellest,^G2730 [even] where^G3699 Satan's^G4567 throne^G2362 is; and^G2532 thou holdest fast^G2902 my^G3450 name,^G3686 and^G2532 didst^G720 not^G3756 deny^G720 my^G3450 faith,^G4102 even^G2532 in^G1722 the days^{G2250 G1722} of^G3739 Antipas^G493 my^G3450 witness,^G3144 my^G3450 faithful^G4103 one, who^G3739 was killed^G615 among^G3844 you,^G5213 where^G3699 Satan^G4567 dwelleth.^G2730
