And Pharaoh^H6547 said^H559 unto his servants,^H5650 Can we find^H4672 such a one as this,^H2088 a man^H376 in whom^H834 the spirit^H7307 of God^H430 is?

But his father^H1 and his mother^H517 knew^H3045 not that it was of Jehovah;^H3068 for he sought^H1245 an occasion^H8385 against the Philistines.^H6430 Now at that time^H6256 the Philistines^H6430 had rule^H4910 over Israel.^H3478

And David^H1732 behaved himself wisely^H7919 in all his ways;^H1870 and Jehovah^H3068 was with him.

Then Ahimelech^H288 answered^H6030 the king,^H4428 and said,^H559 And who among all thy servants^H5650 is so faithful^H539 as David,^H1732 who is the king's^H4428 son-in-law,^H2860 and is taken^H5493 into thy council,^H4928 and is honorable^H3513 in thy house?^H1004

The wicked^H7563 watcheth^H6822 the righteous,^H6662 And seeketh^H1245 to slay^H4191 him.

Then I saw^H7200 all labor^H5999 and every skilful^H3788 work,^H4639 that for this a man^H376 is envied^H7068 of his neighbor.^H7453 This also is vanity^H1892 and a striving^H7469 after wind.^H7307

Yet, Jehovah,^H3068 thou knowest^H3045 all their counsel^H6098 against me to slay^H4194 me; forgive^H3722 not their iniquity,^H5771 neither blot out^H4229 their sin^H2403 from thy sight;^H6440 but let them be overthrown^H3782 before^H6440 thee; deal^H6213 thou with them in the time^H6256 of thine anger.^H639

Wherefore^H6903 at that^H1836 time^H2166 certain^H1400 Chaldeans^H3779 came near,^H7127 and brought accusation^H7170 against the Jews.^H3062

and^G2532 they took counsel^G4823 together that^G2443 they might take^G2902 Jesus^G2424 by subtlety,^G1388 and^G2532 kill^G615 him.

I desire^G1014 therefore^G3767 that^G1060 the younger [widows]^G3501 marry,^G1060 bear children,^G5041 rule the household,^G3616 give^G1325 no^G3367 occasion^G874 to the adversary^G480 for reviling:^G3059

having^G2192 your^G5216 behavior^G391 seemly^G2570 among^G1722 the Gentiles;^G1484 that,^G2443 wherein^{G1722 G3739} they speak against^G2635 you^G5216 as^G5613 evil-doers,^G2555 they may^G1392 by^G1537 your good^G2570 works,^G2041 which they behold,^G2029 glorify^G1392 God^G2316 in^G1722 the day^G2250 of visitation.^G1984

If^G1487 ye are reproached^G3679 for^G1722 the name^G3686 of Christ,^G5547 blessed^G3107 [are ye]; because^G3754 the [Spirit]^G4151 of^G987 glory^G1391 and^G2532 the Spirit of God^G2316 resteth^G373 upon^G1909 you.^G5209
