On that night^H3915 could not^H5074 the king^H4428 sleep;^H8142 and he commanded^H559 to bring^H935 the book^H5612 of records^H2146 of the chronicles,^H1697 and they were read^H7121 before^H6440 the king.^H4428

When I say,^H559 My bed^H6210 shall comfort^H5162 me, My couch^H4904 shall ease^H5375 my complaint;^H7879

I am weary^H3021 with my groaning;^H585 Every night^H3915 make I my bed^H4296 to swim;^H7811 I water^H4529 my couch^H4296 with my tears.^H1832

In the day^H3117 of my trouble^H6869 I sought^H1875 the Lord:^H136 My hand^H3027 was stretched^H5064 out in the night,^H3915 and slacked^H6313 not; My soul^H5315 refused^H3985 to be comforted.^H5162

Make us glad^H8055 according to the days^H3117 wherein thou hast afflicted^H6031 us, And the years^H8141 wherein we have seen^H7200 evil.^H7451
