but thou shalt eat^H398 them before^H6440 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 in the place^H4725 which Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 shall choose,^H977 thou, and thy son,^H1121 and thy daughter,^H1323 and thy man-servant,^H5650 and thy maid-servant,^H519 and the Levite^H3881 that is within thy gates:^H8179 and thou shalt rejoice^H8055 before^H6440 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 in all that thou puttest^H4916 thy hand^H3027 unto.

Then he said^H559 unto them, Go your way,^H3212 eat^H398 the fat,^H4924 and drink^H8354 the sweet,^H4477 and send^H7971 portions^H4490 unto him for whom nothing is prepared;^H3559 for this day^H3117 is holy^H6918 unto our Lord:^H113 neither be ye grieved;^H6087 for the joy^H2304 of Jehovah^H3068 is your [ strength.]^H4581

I know^H3045 that there is nothing better^H2896 for them, than to rejoice,^H8055 and to do^H6213 good^H2896 so long as they live.^H2416

Wherefore I saw^H7200 that there is nothing better,^H2896 than that a man^H120 should rejoice^H8055 in his works;^H4639 for that is his portion:^H2506 for who shall bring^H935 him [back] to see^H7200 what shall be after^H310 him?

Behold, that which I have seen^H7200 to be good^H2896 and to be comely^H3303 is for one to eat^H398 and to drink,^H8354 and to enjoy^H7200 good^H2896 in all his labor,^H5999 wherein he laboreth^H5998 under the sun,^H8121 all^H4557 the days^H3117 of his life^H2416 which God^H430 hath given^H5414 him: for this is his portion.^H2506

Then I commended^H7623 mirth,^H8057 because a man^H120 hath no better thing^H2896 under the sun,^H8121 than to eat,^H398 and to drink,^H8354 and to be joyful:^H8055 for that shall abide^H3867 with him in his labor^H5999 [all] the days^H3117 of his life^H2416 which God^H430 hath given^H5414 him under the sun.^H8121

Rejoice,^H8055 O young man,^H970 in thy youth,^H3208 and let thy heart^H3820 cheer^H2895 thee in the days^H3117 of thy youth,^H979 and walk^H1980 in the ways^H1870 of thy heart,^H3820 and in the sight^H4758 of thine eyes;^H5869 but know^H3045 thou, that for all these things God^H430 will bring^H935 thee into judgment.^H4941

And^G2532 I will say^G2046 to^G5590 my^G3450 soul,^G5590 Soul,^G5590 thou hast^G2192 much^G4183 goods^G18 laid up^G2749 for^G1519 many^G4183 years;^G2094 take thine ease,^G373 eat,^G5315 drink,^G4095 be merry.^G2165

If^G1487 after the manner^G2596 of men^G444 I fought with beasts^G2341 at^G1722 Ephesus,^G2181 what^G5101 doth it^G3786 profit me?^G3427 If^G1487 the dead^G3498 are not^G3756 raised,^G1453 let us eat^G5315 and^G2532 drink,^G4095 for^G1063 to-morrow^G839 we die.^G599
