Then Judah^H3063 came near^H5066 unto him, and said,^H559 Oh,^H994 my lord,^H113 let thy servant,^H5650 I pray thee, speak^H1696 a word^H1697 in my lord's^H113 ears,^H241 and let not thine anger^H639 burn^H2734 against thy servant;^H5650 for thou art even as Pharaoh.^H6547

And Saul^H7586 said^H559 unto his uncle,^H1730 He told^H5046 us plainly^H5046 that the asses^H860 were found.^H4672 But concerning the matter^H1697 of the kingdom,^H4410 whereof Samuel^H8050 spake,^H559 he told^H5046 him not.

And it came to pass, when the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 had read^H7121 the letter,^H5612 that he rent^H7167 his clothes,^H899 and said,^H559 Am I God,^H430 to kill^H4191 and to make alive,^H2421 that this man^H2088 doth send^H7971 unto me to recover^H622 a man^H376 of his leprosy?^H6883 but^H389 consider,^H3045 I pray you, and see^H7200 how he seeketh a quarrel^H579 against me.

But the people^H5971 held their peace,^H2790 and answered^H6030 him not a word;^H1697 for the king's^H4428 commandment^H4687 was, saying,^H559 Answer^H6030 him not.

For if thou altogether^H2790 holdest thy peace^H2790 at this time,^H6256 then will relief^H7305 and deliverance^H2020 arise^H5975 to the Jews^H3064 from another^H312 place,^H4725 but thou and thy father's^H1 house^H1004 will perish:^H6 and who knoweth^H3045 whether thou art not come^H5060 to the kingdom^H4438 for such a time^H6256 as this?

So they sat down^H3427 with him upon the ground^H776 seven^H7651 days^H3117 and seven^H7651 nights,^H3915 and none spake^H1696 a word^H1697 unto him: for they saw^H7200 that his grief^H3511 was very^H3966 great.^H1431

I was dumb^H481 with silence,^H1747 I held my peace,^H2814 even from good;^H2896 And my sorrow^H3511 was stirred.^H5916

Open^H6605 thy mouth^H6310 for the dumb,^H483 In the cause^H1779 of all such as are left^H1121 desolate.^H2475

Why do we sit still?^H3427 assemble^H622 yourselves, and let us enter^H935 into the fortified^H4013 cities,^H5892 and let us be silent^H1826 there; for Jehovah^H3068 our God^H430 hath put us to silence,^H1826 and given us water^H4325 of gall^H7219 to drink,^H8248 because we have sinned^H2398 against Jehovah.^H3068

Let him sit^H3427 alone^H910 and keep silence,^H1826 because he hath laid^H5190 it upon him.

Therefore he that is prudent^H7919 shall keep silence^H1826 in such a time;^H6256 for it is an evil^H7451 time.^H6256

Trust^H539 ye not in a neighbor;^H7453 put ye not confidence^H982 in a friend;^H441 keep^H8104 the doors^H6607 of thy mouth^H6310 from her that lieth^H7901 in thy bosom.^H2436

for^G1063 we^{G2249 G1410} cannot^G3756 but^G3361 speak^G2980 the things which^G3739 we saw^G1492 and^G2532 heard.^G191
