TSK · Exodus 20:4

And when the people^H5971 saw^H7200 that Moses^H4872 delayed^H954 to come down^H3381 from the mount,^H2022 the people^H5971 gathered themselves together^H6950 unto Aaron,^H175 and said^H559 unto him, Up,^H6965 make^H6213 us gods,^H430 which shall go^H3212 before^H6440 us; for as for this Moses,^H4872 the man^H376 that brought^H5927 us up out of the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 we know^H3045 not what is become of him.

they have turned^H5493 aside quickly^H4118 out of the way^H1870 which I commanded^H6680 them: they have made^H6213 them a molten^H4541 calf,^H5695 and have worshipped^H7812 it, and have sacrificed^H2076 unto it, and said,^H559 These are thy gods,^H430 O Israel,^H3478 which brought thee up^H5927 out of the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

Thou shalt make^H6213 thee no molten^H4541 gods.^H430

Ye shall make^H6213 you no idols,^H457 neither shall ye rear you up^H6965 a graven image,^H6459 or a pillar,^H4676 neither shall ye place^H5414 any figured^H4906 stone^H68 in your land,^H776 to bow down^H7812 unto it: for I am Jehovah^H3068 your God.^H430

Lest ye corrupt^H7843 yourselves, and make^H6213 you a graven image^H6459 in the form^H8544 of any figure,^H5566 the likeness^H8403 of male^H2145 or female,^H5347

When thou shalt beget^H3205 children,^H1121 and children's^H1121 children,^H1121 and ye shall have been long^H3462 in the land,^H776 and shall corrupt^H7843 yourselves, and make^H6213 a graven image^H6459 in the form^H8544 of anything, and shall do^H6213 that which is evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 to provoke him to anger;^H3707

Neither shalt thou set thee up^H6965 a pillar;^H4676 which Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 hateth.^H8130

And he restored^H7725 the eleven hundred^H505 [pieces] of silver^H3701 to his mother;^H517 and his mother^H517 said,^H559 I verily^H6942 dedicate^H6942 the silver^H3701 unto Jehovah^H3068 from my hand^H3027 for my son,^H1121 to make^H6213 a graven image^H6459 and a molten image:^H6459 now therefore I will restore^H7725 it unto thee.

And he set^H7760 the graven image^H6459 of the idol,^H5566 which he had made,^H6213 in the house^H1004 of God,^H430 of which God^H430 said^H559 to David^H1732 and to Solomon^H8010 his son,^H1121 In this house,^H1004 and in Jerusalem,^H3389 which I have chosen^H977 out of all the tribes^H7626 of Israel,^H3478 will I put^H7760 my name^H8034 for ever:^H5865

Their idols^H6091 are silver^H3701 and gold,^H2091 The work^H4639 of men's^H120 hands.^H3027

To whom then will ye liken^H1819 God?^H410 or what likeness^H1823 will ye compare^H6186 unto him?

They shall be turned^H5472 back,^H268 they shall be utterly^H1322 put to shame,^H954 that trust^H982 in graven images,^H6459 that say^H559 unto molten images,^H4541 Ye are our gods.^H430

They shall be put to shame,^H3637 yea, confounded,^H954 all of them; they shall go^H1980 into confusion^H3639 together^H3162 that are makers^H2796 of idols.^H6736

For the customs^H2708 of the peoples^H5971 are vanity;^H1892 for one cutteth^H3772 a tree^H6086 out of the forest,^H3293 the work^H4639 of the hands^H3027 of the workman^H2796 with the axe.^H4621

Every man^H120 is become brutish^H1197 and is without knowledge;^H1847 every goldsmith^H6884 is put to shame^H3001 by his graven image;^H5262 for his molten image^H5262 is falsehood,^H8267 and there is no breath^H7307 in them.

Being^G5225 then^G3767 the offspring^G1085 of God,^G2316 we ought^G3784 not^G3756 to think that^G3543 the Godhead^G2304 is^G1511 like unto^G3664 gold,^G5557 or^G2228 silver,^G696 or^G2228 stone,^G3037 graven^G5480 by art^G5078 and^G2532 device^G1761 of man.^G444

and^G2532 changed^G236 the glory^G1391 of the incorruptible^G862 God^G2316 for^G1722 the likeness of an image^G1504 of^G3667 corruptible^G5349 man,^G444 and^G2532 of birds,^G4071 and^G2532 four-footed beasts,^G5074 and^G2532 creeping things.^G2062

And^G2532 he deceiveth^G4105 them that dwell^G2730 on^G1909 the earth^G1093 by^G1223 reason of the signs^G4592 which^G3739 it was given^G1325 him^G846 to do^G4160 in the sight^G1799 of the beast;^G2342 saying^G3004 to them that dwell^G2730 on^G1909 the earth,^G1093 that they should make^G4160 an image^G1504 to the beast^G2342 who^G3739 hath^G2192 the stroke^G4127 of the sword^G3162 and^G2532 lived.^G2198

And^G2532 the first^G4413 went,^G565 and^G2532 poured out^G1632 his^G846 bowl^G5357 into^G1909 the earth;^G1093 and^G2532 it became^G1096 a noisome^G2556 and^G2532 grievous^G4190 sore^G1668 upon^G1519 the men^G444 that^G3588 had^G2192 the mark^G5480 of the beast,^G2342 and^G2532 that worshipped^G4352 his^G846 image.^G1504
