and showing^H6213 lovingkindness^H2617 unto thousands^H505 of them that love^H157 me and keep^H8104 my commandments.^H4687

Take ye heed^H8104 before^H6440 him, and hearken^H8085 unto his voice;^H6963 provoke^H4843 him not; for he will not pardon^H5375 your transgression:^H6588 for my name^H8034 is in him.^H7130

thou shalt not bow down^H7812 thyself unto them, nor serve^H5647 them; for I, Jehovah,^H3068 thy God,^H430 am a jealous^H7067 God,^H430 visiting^H6485 the iniquity^H5771 of the fathers^H1 upon the children,^H1121 and upon the third^H8029 and upon the fourth^H7256 generation of them that hate^H8130 me;

And Joshua^H3091 said^H559 unto the people,^H5971 Ye cannot^H3201 serve^H5647 Jehovah;^H3068 for he is a holy^H6918 God;^H430 he is a jealous^H7072 God;^H430 he will not forgive^H5375 your transgression^H6588 nor your sins.^H2403

and said,^H559 I beseech^H577 thee, O Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of heaven,^H8064 the great^H1419 and terrible^H3372 God,^H410 that keepeth^H8104 covenant^H1285 and lovingkindness^H2617 with them that love^H157 him and keep^H8104 his commandments:^H4687

If I sin,^H2398 then thou markest^H8104 me, And thou wilt not acquit^H5352 me from mine iniquity.^H5771

Jehovah^H3068 trieth^H974 the righteous;^H6662 But the wicked^H7563 and him that loveth^H157 violence^H2555 his soul^H5315 hateth.^H8130

The righteous^H6662 shall rejoice^H8055 when he seeth^H2372 the vengeance:^H5359 He shall wash^H7364 his feet^H6471 in the blood^H1818 of the wicked;^H7563

Thou answeredst^H6030 them, O Jehovah^H3068 our God:^H430 Thou wast a God^H410 that forgavest^H5375 them, Though thou tookest vengeance^H5358 of their doings.^H5949

Let the iniquity^H5771 of his fathers^H1 be remembered^H2142 with Jehovah;^H3068 And let not the sin^H2403 of his mother^H517 be blotted out.^H4229

To him that smote^H5221 Egypt^H4714 in their first-born;^H1060 For his lovingkindness^H2617 [endureth] for ever;^H5769

Declare^H5046 ye, and bring [it] forth;^H5066 yea, let them take counsel^H3289 together:^H3162 who hath showed^H5046 this from ancient time?^H6924 who hath declared^H5046 it of old? have not I, Jehovah?^H3068 and there is no God^H430 else besides^H1107 me, a just^H6662 God^H410 and a Saviour;^H3467 there is none^H369 besides^H2108 me.

who showest^H6213 lovingkindness^H2617 unto thousands,^H505 and recompensest^H7999 the iniquity^H5771 of the fathers^H1 into the bosom^H2436 of their children^H1121 after^H310 them; the great,^H1419 the mighty^H1368 God,^H410 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 is his name;^H8034

To the Lord^H136 our God^H430 belong mercies^H7356 and forgiveness;^H5547 for we have rebelled^H4775 against him;

Who is a God^H410 like unto thee, that pardoneth^H5375 iniquity,^H5771 and passeth over^H5674 the transgression^H6588 of the remnant^H7611 of his heritage?^H5159 he retaineth^H2388 not his anger^H639 for ever,^H5703 because he delighteth^H2654 in lovingkindness.^H2617

Who can stand^H5975 before^H6440 his indignation?^H2195 and who can abide^H6965 in the fierceness^H2740 of his anger?^H639 his wrath^H2534 is poured out^H5413 like fire,^H784 and the rocks^H6697 are broken asunder^H5422 by him.

Therefore^G1223 I^G5124 say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 Every sin^G266 and^G2532 blasphemy^G988 shall be forgiven^G863 unto men;^G444 but^G1161 the blasphemy^G988 against the^G4151 Spirit^G4151 shall^G863 not^G3756 be forgiven.^G863

^G1161 When^G2192 they^G846 had^G2192 not^G3361 wherewith to pay,^G591 he forgave^G5483 them both.^{G297 G2036} Which^G5101 of them^G846 therefore^G3767 will love^G25 him^G846 most?^G4119

Him^G5126 did^G5312 God^G2316 exalt^G5312 with^G1188 his^G846 right hand^G1188 [to be] a Prince^G747 and^G2532 a Saviour,^G4990 to give^G1325 repentance^G3341 to Israel,^G2474 and^G2532 remission^G859 of sins.^G266

Or^G2228 despisest^G2706 thou the riches^G4149 of his^G846 goodness^G5544 and^G2532 forbearance^G463 and^G2532 longsuffering,^G3115 not knowing^G50 that^G3754 the goodness^G5543 of God^G2316 leadeth^G71 thee^G4571 to^G1519 repentance?^G3341

[ saying], Blessed^G3107 are they whose^G3739 iniquities^G458 are forgiven,^G863 And^G2532 whose^G3739 sins^G266 are covered.^G1943

in^G1722 whom^G3739 we have^G2192 our redemption^G629 through^G1223 his^G846 blood,^G129 the forgiveness^G859 of our trespasses,^G3900 according^G2596 to the riches^G4149 of his^G846 grace,^G5485

for^G2532 our^G2257 God^G2316 is a^G1063 consuming^G2654 fire.^G4442

And^G2532 if^G1487 any^G5100 was^G2147 not^G3756 found^G2147 written^G1125 in^G1722 the book^G976 of life,^G2222 he was cast^G906 into^G1519 the lake^G3041 of fire.^G4442
