And Noah^H5146 builded^H1129 an altar^H4196 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and took^H3947 of every clean^H2889 beast,^H929 and of every clean^H2889 bird,^H5775 and offered^H5927 burnt-offerings^H5930 on the altar.^H4196

And he said,^H559 Take now^H3947 thy son,^H1121 thine only^H3173 son, whom thou lovest,^H157 even Isaac,^H3327 and get thee^H3212 into the land^H776 of Moriah;^H4179 and offer him^H5927 there for a burnt-offering^H5930 upon one^H259 of the mountains^H2022 which I will tell^H559 thee of.

Surely^H403 he hath borne^H5375 our griefs,^H2483 and carried^H5445 our sorrows;^H4341 yet we did esteem^H2803 him stricken,^H5060 smitten^H5221 of God,^H430 and afflicted.^H6031

Was not^G3756 Abraham^G11 our^G2257 father^G3962 justified^G1344 by^G1537 works,^G2041 in that he offered^G399 up Isaac^G2464 his^G846 son^G5207 upon^G1909 the altar?^G2379
