What man^H376 is he that desireth^H2655 life,^H2416 And loveth^H157 [many] days,^H3117 that he may see^H7200 good?^H2896

Hear,^H8085 [my] sons,^H1121 the instruction^H4148 of a father,^H1 And attend^H7181 to know^H3045 understanding:^H998

My son,^H1121 keep^H5341 the commandment^H4687 of thy father,^H1 And forsake^H5203 not the law^H8451 of thy mother:^H517

Now therefore, [my] sons,^H1121 hearken^H8085 unto me, And attend^H7181 to the words^H561 of my mouth.^H6310

Hearken^H8085 unto thy father^H1 that begat^H3205 thee, And despise^H936 not thy mother^H517 when she is old.^H2204

Assemble^H6908 yourselves, all ye, and hear;^H8085 who among them hath declared^H5046 these things? He whom Jehovah^H3068 loveth^H157 shall perform^H6213 his pleasure^H2656 on Babylon,^H894 and his arm^H2220 [shall be on] the Chaldeans.^H3778
