And Abel,^H1893 he^H1931 also brought^H935 of the firstlings^H1062 of his flock^H6629 and of the fat^H2459 thereof. And Jehovah^H3068 had respect^H8159 unto Abel^H1893 and to his offering:^H4503

of the birds^H5775 also of the heavens,^H8064 seven^H7651 and seven,^H7651 male^H2145 and female,^H5347 to keep^H2421 seed^H2233 alive^H2421 upon the face^H6440 of all the earth.^H776

And he removed^H6275 from thence unto the mountain^H2022 on the east^H6924 of Beth-el,^H1008 and pitched^H5186 his tent,^H168 having Beth-el^H1008 on the west,^H3220 and Ai^H5857 on the east:^H6924 and there he builded^H1129 an altar^H4196 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and called^H7121 upon the name^H8034 of Jehovah.^H3068

And Abram^H87 moved his tent,^H167 and came^H935 and dwelt^H3427 by the oaks^H436 of Mamre,^H4471 which are in Hebron,^H2275 and built^H1129 there an altar^H4196 unto Jehovah.^H3068

And they came^H935 to the place^H4725 which God^H430 had told^H559 him of; and Abraham^H85 built^H1129 the altar^H4196 there, and laid^H6186 the wood^H6086 in order,^H6186 and bound^H6123 Isaac^H3327 his son,^H1121 and laid^H7760 him on the altar,^H4196 upon^H4605 the wood.^H6086

And he erected^H5324 there an altar,^H4196 and called it^H7121 El-Elohe-Israel.^H415

And he built^H1129 there an altar,^H4196 and called^H7121 the place^H4725 El-beth-el;^H416 because there God^H430 was revealed^H1540 unto him, when he fled^H1272 from the face^H6440 of his brother.^H251

An altar^H4196 of earth^H127 thou shalt make^H6213 unto me, and shalt sacrifice^H2076 thereon thy burnt-offerings,^H5930 and thy peace-offerings,^H8002 thy sheep,^H6629 and thine oxen:^H1241 in every place^H4725 where I record^H2142 my name^H8034 I will come^H935 unto thee and I will bless^H1288 thee.

And thou shalt burn^H6999 the whole ram^H352 upon the altar:^H4196 it is a burnt-offering^H5930 unto Jehovah;^H3068 it is a sweet^H5207 savor,^H7381 an offering made by fire^H801 unto Jehovah.^H3068

And Jehovah^H3068 called^H7121 unto Moses,^H4872 and spake^H1696 unto him out of the tent^H168 of meeting,^H4150 saying,^H559

Through^G1223 him^G846 then^G3767 let us offer^G399 up a sacrifice^G2378 of praise^G133 to God^G2316 continually,^G1275 that^G5124 is,^G2076 the fruit^G2590 of^G5491 lips^G5491 which make confession^G3670 to^G3686 his^G846 name.^G3686

But^G1161 ye^G5210 are an elect^G1588 race,^G1085 a royal^G934 priesthood,^G2406 a holy^G40 nation,^G1484 a ^G1519 people^G2992 for [God's] own possession,^G4047 that^G3704 ye may show forth^G1804 the excellencies^G703 of him who called^G2564 you^G5209 out of^G1537 darkness^G4655 into^G1519 his^G846 marvellous^G2298 light:^G5457
