And Terah^H8646 took^H3947 Abram^H87 his son,^H1121 and Lot^H3876 the son^H1121 of Haran,^H2039 his son's^H1121 son,^H1121 and Sarai^H8297 his daughter-in-law,^H3618 his son^H1121 Abram's^H87 wife;^H802 and they went forth^H3318 with them from Ur^H218 of the Chaldees,^H3778 to go^H3212 into the land^H776 of Canaan;^H3667 and they came^H935 unto Haran,^H2771 and dwelt^H3427 there.

And Jehovah^H3068 appeared^H7200 unto Abram,^H87 and said,^H559 Unto thy seed^H2233 will I give^H5414 this^H2063 land:^H776 and there builded^H1129 he an altar^H4196 unto Jehovah,^H3068 who appeared^H7200 unto him.

And he brought him forth^H3318 abroad,^H2351 and said,^H559 Look^H5027 now toward heaven,^H8064 and number^H5608 the stars,^H3556 if thou be able^H3201 to number^H5608 them: and he said^H559 unto him, So^H3541 shall thy seed^H2233 be.

And I will give^H5414 unto thee, and to thy seed^H2233 after thee,^H310 the land^H776 of thy sojournings,^H4033 all the land^H776 of Canaan,^H3667 for an everlasting^H5769 possession;^H272 and I will be their God.^H430

and in thy seed^H2233 shall all the nations^H1471 of the earth^H776 be blessed;^H1288 because^H834 thou hast obeyed^H8085 my voice.^H6963

And he said^H559 unto him, I will not go;^H3212 but I will depart^H3212 to mine own land,^H776 and to my kindred.^H4138

And I took^H3947 your father^H1 Abraham^H85 from beyond^H5676 the River,^H5104 and led^H3212 him throughout all the land^H776 of Canaan,^H3667 and multiplied^H7235 his seed,^H2233 and gave^H5414 him Isaac.^H3327

[ The covenant] which he made^H3772 with Abraham,^H85 And his oath^H7621 unto Isaac,^H3446

Look^H5027 unto Abraham^H85 your father,^H1 and unto Sarah^H8283 that bare^H2342 you; for when he was but one^H259 I called^H7121 him, and I blessed^H1288 him, and made him many.^H7235

And^G1161 he arose^G1453 and took^G3880 the young child^G3813 and^G2532 his^G846 mother,^G3384 and^G2532 came^G2064 into^G1519 the land^G1093 of Israel.^G2474

But^G1161 thanks^G5485 be to God,^G2316 that,^G3754 whereas ye were^G2258 servants^G1401 of sin,^{G266 G1161} ye became obedient^G5219 from^G1537 the heart^G2588 to^G1519 that form^G5179 of teaching^G1322 whereunto^G3739 ye were delivered;^G3860

casting down^G2507 imaginations,^G3053 and^G2532 every^G3956 high thing^G5313 that is exalted^G1869 against^G2596 the knowledge^G1108 of God,^G2316 and^G2532 bringing every^G3956 thought^G3540 into captivity^G163 to^G1519 the obedience^G5218 of Christ;^G5547

who^G3739 through^G1223 faith^G4102 subdued^G2610 kingdoms,^G932 wrought^G2038 righteousness,^G1343 obtained^G2013 promises,^G1860 stopped^G5420 the mouths^G4750 of lions,^G3023

Seeing ye have purified^G48 your^G5216 souls^G5590 in^G1722 your obedience^G5218 to the truth^G225 unto^G1519 unfeigned^G505 love of the brethren,^G5360 love^G25 one another^G240 from^G1537 the ^G2513 heart^G2588 fervently:^G1619

For^G3754 the time^G2540 [is come] for judgment^G2917 to begin^G756 at^G575 the house^G3624 of God:^G2316 and^G1161 if^G1487 [it begin] first^G4412 at^G575 us,^G2257 what^G5101 [shall be] the end^G5056 of them that obey not^G544 the gospel^G2098 of God?^G2316
