The sceptre^H7626 shall not depart^H5493 from Judah,^H3063 Nor the ruler's^H2710 staff from between his feet,^H7272 Until^H3588 Shiloh^H7886 come;^H935 And unto him shall the obedience^H3349 of the peoples^H5971 be.

It is better^H2896 to take refuge^H2620 in Jehovah^H3068 Than to put confidence^H982 in princes.^H5081

[As for] Samaria,^H8111 her king^H4428 is cut off,^H1820 as foam^H7110 upon^H6440 the water.^H4325

They shall not return^H7725 into the land^H776 of Egypt;^H4714 but the Assyrian^H804 shall be their king,^H4428 because they refused^H3985 to return^H7725 [to me].

I have given^H5414 thee a king^H4428 in mine anger,^H639 and have taken^H3947 him away in my wrath.^H5678
