For thou hast forgotten^H7911 the God^H430 of thy salvation,^H3468 and hast not been mindful^H2142 of the rock^H6697 of thy strength;^H4581 therefore thou plantest^H5193 pleasant^H5282 plants,^H5193 and settest^H2232 it with strange^H2114 slips.^H2156

I will also give^H5414 thee into their hand,^H3027 and they shall throw down^H2040 thy vaulted place,^H1354 and break down^H5422 thy lofty places;^H7413 and they shall strip^H6584 thee of thy clothes,^H899 and take^H3947 thy fair^H8597 jewels;^H3627 and they shall leave^H3240 thee naked^H5903 and bare.^H6181

And the king^H4428 of the north^H6828 shall return,^H7725 and shall set forth^H5975 a multitude^H1995 greater^H7227 than the former;^H7223 and he shall^H935 come^H935 on at the end^H7093 of the times,^H6256 [even of] years,^H8141 with a great^H7227 army^H2428 and with much^H7227 substance.^H7399

For they sow^H2232 the wind,^H7307 and they shall reap^H7114 the whirlwind:^H5492 he hath no standing^H7054 grain; the blade^H6780 shall yield^H6213 no meal;^H7058 if^H194 so be it yield,^H6213 strangers^H2114 shall swallow it up.^H1104

Who knoweth^H3045 whether he will not turn^H7725 and repent,^H5162 and leave^H7604 a blessing^H1293 behind^H310 him, even a meal-offering^H4503 and a drink-offering^H5262 unto Jehovah^H3068 your God?^H430

Ye have sown^H2232 much,^H7235 and bring^H935 in little;^H4592 ye eat,^H398 but ye have not enough;^H7654 ye drink,^H8354 but ye are not filled with drink;^H7937 ye clothe^H3847 you, but there is none warm;^H2527 and he that earneth wages^H7936 earneth wages^H7936 [to put it] into a bag^H6872 with holes.^H5344

Whereas Edom^H123 saith,^H559 We are beaten^H7567 down, but we will return^H7725 and build^H1129 the waste places;^H2723 thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 They shall build,^H1129 but I will throw down;^H2040 and men shall call^H7121 them The border^H1366 of wickedness,^H7564 and The people^H5971 against whom Jehovah^H3068 hath indignation^H2194 for^H5704 ever.^H5769
