TSK · Hosea 4:6

and did I choose^H977 him out of all the tribes^H7626 of Israel^H3478 to be my priest,^H3548 to go^H5927 up unto mine altar,^H4196 to burn^H6999 incense,^H7004 to wear^H5375 an ephod^H646 before^H6440 me? and did I give^H5414 unto the house^H1004 of thy father^H1 all the offerings of the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 made by fire?^H801

And they forsook^H5800 all the commandments^H4687 of Jehovah^H3068 their God,^H430 and made^H6213 them molten images,^H4541 even two^H8147 calves,^H5695 and made^H6213 an Asherah,^H842 and worshipped^H7812 all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 and served^H5647 Baal.^H1168

But if they hearken^H8085 not, they shall perish^H5674 by the sword,^H7973 And they shall die^H1478 without knowledge.^H1847

The cords^H2256 of the wicked^H7563 have wrapped^H5749 me round; [But] I have not forgotten^H7911 thy law.^H8451

They would^H14 none of my counsel;^H6098 They despised^H5006 all my reproof.^H8433

The ox^H7794 knoweth^H3045 his owner,^H7069 and the ass^H2543 his master's^H1167 crib;^H18 [but] Israel^H3478 doth not know,^H3045 my people^H5971 doth not consider.^H995

Therefore my people^H5971 are gone into captivity^H1540 for lack of knowledge;^H1847 and their honorable^H3519 men^H4962 are famished,^H7458 and their multitude^H1995 are parched^H6704 with thirst.^H6772

When the boughs^H7105 thereof are withered,^H3001 they shall be broken off;^H7665 the women^H802 shall come,^H935 and set them on fire;^H215 for it is a people^H5971 of no understanding:^H998 therefore he that made^H6213 them will not have compassion^H7355 upon them, and he that formed^H3335 them will show them no favor.^H2603

and the book^H5612 is delivered^H5414 to him that is not learned,^H3045 saying,^H559 Read^H7121 this, I pray thee; and he saith,^H559 I am not learned.^H3045

His watchmen^H6822 are blind,^H5787 they are all without knowledge;^H3045 they are all dumb^H483 dogs,^H3611 they cannot^H3201 bark;^H5024 dreaming,^H1957 lying down,^H7901 loving^H157 to slumber.^H5123

For my people^H5971 are foolish,^H191 they know^H3045 me not; they are sottish^H5530 children,^H1121 and they have no understanding;^H995 they are wise^H2450 to do evil,^H7489 but to do good^H3190 they have no knowledge.^H3045

Hear^H8085 now this, O foolish^H5530 people,^H5971 and without understanding;^H3820 that have eyes,^H5869 and see^H7200 not; that have ears,^H241 and hear^H8085 not:

And I will visit^H6485 upon her the days^H3117 of the Baalim,^H1168 unto which she burned incense,^H6999 when she decked^H5710 herself with her ear-rings^H5141 and her jewels,^H2484 and went^H3212 after^H310 her lovers,^H157 and forgat^H7911 me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

My people^H5971 ask^H7592 counsel at their stock,^H6086 and their staff^H4731 declareth^H5046 unto them; for the spirit^H7307 of whoredom^H2183 hath caused them to err,^H8582 and they have played the harlot,^H2181 [departing] from under their God.^H430

[Set] the trumpet^H7782 to thy mouth.^H2441 As an eagle^H5404 [he cometh] against the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 because they have transgressed^H5674 my covenant,^H1285 and trespassed^H6586 against my law.^H8451

For Israel^H3478 hath forgotten^H7911 his Maker,^H6213 and builded^H1129 palaces;^H1964 and Judah^H3063 hath multiplied^H7235 fortified^H1219 cities:^H5892 but I will send^H7971 a fire^H784 upon his cities,^H5892 and it shall devour^H398 the castles^H759 thereof.

According to their pasture,^H4830 so were they filled;^H7646 they were filled,^H7646 and their heart^H3820 was exalted:^H7311 therefore have they forgotten^H7911 me.

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto me, Take^H3947 unto thee yet again the instruments^H3627 of a foolish^H196 shepherd.^H7462

For the priest's^H3548 lips^H8193 should keep^H8104 knowledge,^H1847 and they should seek^H1245 the law^H8451 at his mouth;^H6310 for he is the messenger^H4397 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635

And^G1161 he answered^G611 and said^G2036 unto them,^G1223 Why^G5101 do^G3845 ye^G5210 also^G2532 transgress^G3845 the commandment^G1785 of God^G2316 because^G1223 of your^G5216 tradition?^G3862

Let^G863 them^G846 alone:^G863 they are^G1526 blind^G5185 guides.^G3595 And^G1161 if^G1437 the blind^G5185 guide^G3594 the blind,^G5185 both^G297 shall fall^G4098 into^G1519 a pit.^G999

Woe^G3759 unto you,^G5213 ye blind^G5185 guides,^G3595 that say,^G3004 Whosoever^G3739 shall swear^G3660 by^G1722 the temple,^G3485 it is^G2076 nothing;^G3762 but^G1161 whosoever^G3739 shall swear^G3660 by^G1722 the gold^G5557 of the temple,^G3485 he is a debtor.^G3784

He will come^G2064 and^G2532 destroy^G622 these^G5128 husbandmen,^G1092 and^G2532 will give^G1325 the vineyard^G290 unto others.^G243 And when^G1161 they heard^G191 it, they said,^G3361 God forbid.^G1096
