That be far^H2486 from thee to do^H6213 after this manner,^H1697 to slay^H4191 the righteous^H6662 with the wicked,^H7563 that so the righteous^H6662 should be as the wicked;^H7563 that be far^H2486 from thee: shall not the Judge^H8199 of all the earth^H776 do^H6213 right?^H4941

And Samuel^H8050 said,^H559 Hath Jehovah^H3068 as great delight^H2656 in burnt-offerings^H5930 and sacrifices,^H2077 as in obeying^H8085 the voice^H6963 of Jehovah?^H3068 Behold, to obey^H8085 is better^H2896 than sacrifice,^H2077 and to hearken^H8085 than the fat^H2459 of rams.^H352

And Elijah^H452 the Tishbite,^H8664 who was of the sojourners^H8453 of Gilead,^H1568 said^H559 unto Ahab,^H256 As Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 liveth,^H2416 before^H6440 whom I stand,^H5975 there shall not be dew^H2919 nor rain^H4306 these years,^H8141 but according^H6310 to my word.^H1697

And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth^H4422 from the sword^H2719 of Hazael^H2371 shall Jehu^H3058 slay;^H4191 and him that escapeth^H4422 from the sword^H2719 of Jehu^H3058 shall Elisha^H477 slay.^H4191

And there came^H935 a writing^H4385 to him from Elijah^H452 the prophet,^H5030 saying,^H559 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of David^H1732 thy father,^H1 Because thou hast not walked^H1980 in the ways^H1870 of Jehoshaphat^H3092 thy father,^H1 nor in the ways^H1870 of Asa^H609 king^H4428 of Judah,^H3063

Therefore hearken^H8085 unto me, ye men^H582 of understanding:^H3824 Far be it^H2486 from God,^H410 that he should do wickedness,^H7562 And from the Almighty,^H7706 that he should commit iniquity.^H5766

My flesh^H1320 trembleth^H5568 for fear^H6343 of thee; And I am afraid^H3372 of thy judgments.^H4941

Cry^H7121 aloud,^H1627 spare^H2820 not, lift^H7311 up thy voice^H6963 like a trumpet,^H7782 and declare^H5046 unto my people^H5971 their transgression,^H6588 and to the house^H1004 of Jacob^H3290 their sins.^H2403

For, behold, I^H589 have made^H5414 thee this day^H3117 a fortified^H4013 city,^H5892 and an iron^H1270 pillar,^H5982 and brazen^H5178 walls,^H2346 against the whole land,^H776 against the kings^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 against the princes^H8269 thereof, against the priests^H3548 thereof, and against the people^H5971 of the land.^H776

Then shalt thou say^H559 unto them, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will fill^H4390 all the inhabitants^H3427 of this land,^H776 even the kings^H4428 that sit^H3427 upon David's^H1732 throne,^H3678 and the priests,^H3548 and the prophets,^H5030 and all the inhabitants^H3427 of Jerusalem,^H3389 with drunkenness.^H7943

Repent^G3340 therefore; or^G1487 else^{G3361 G1161} I come^G2064 to thee^G4671 quickly,^G5035 and^G2532 I will make war^G4170 against^G3326 them^G846 with^G1722 the sword^G4501 of^G4750 my^G3450 mouth.^G4750

and they^G3340 repented not^G3756 of^G1537 their^G846 murders,^G5408 nor^G3777 of^G1537 their^G846 sorceries,^G2532 nor^G3777 of^G1537 their^G846 fornication,^G4202 nor^G3777 of^G1537 their^G846 thefts.^G2809
