TSK · Hosea 9:7

And what will ye do^H6213 in the day^H3117 of visitation,^H6486 and in the desolation^H7722 which shall come^H935 from far?^H4801 to whom will ye flee^H5127 for help?^H5833 and where will ye leave^H5800 your glory?^H3519

For Jehovah^H3068 hath a day^H3117 of vengeance,^H5359 a year^H8141 of recompense^H7966 for the cause^H7379 of Zion.^H6726

They have healed^H7495 also the hurt^H7667 of my people^H5971 slightly,^H7043 saying,^H559 Peace,^H7965 peace;^H7965 when there is no peace.^H7965

They are vanity,^H1892 a work^H4639 of delusion:^H8595 in the time^H6256 of their visitation^H6486 they shall perish.^H6

And first^H7223 I will recompense^H7999 their iniquity^H5771 and their sin^H2403 double,^H4932 because they have polluted^H2490 my land^H776 with the carcasses^H5038 of their detestable^H8251 things, and have filled^H4390 mine inheritance^H5159 with their abominations.^H8441

Jehovah^H3068 hath made^H5414 thee priest^H3548 in the stead of Jehoiada^H3077 the priest,^H3548 that there may be officers^H6496 in the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 for every man^H376 that is mad,^H7696 and maketh himself a prophet,^H5012 that thou shouldest put^H5414 him in the stocks^H6729 and in shackles.^H4115

Thy prophets^H5030 have seen^H2372 for thee false^H7723 and foolish visions;^H8602 And they have not uncovered^H1540 thine iniquity,^H5771 to bring back^H7725 thy captivity,^H7622 But have seen^H2372 for thee false^H7723 oracles^H4864 and causes of banishment.^H4065

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 what is this proverb^H4912 that ye have in the land^H127 of Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 The days^H3117 are prolonged,^H748 and every vision^H2377 faileth?^H6

Because, even because they have seduced^H2937 my people,^H5971 saying,^H559 Peace;^H7965 and there is no peace;^H7965 and when one buildeth up^H1129 a wall,^H2434 behold,^H2009 they daub^H2902 it with untempered^H8602 [mortar]:

And I will execute^H6213 great^H1419 vengeance^H5360 upon them with wrathful^H2534 rebukes;^H8433 and they shall know^H3045 that I am Jehovah,^H3068 when I shall lay^H5414 my vengeance^H5360 upon them.

Ephraim^H669 shall become a desolation^H8047 in the day^H3117 of rebuke:^H8433 among the tribes^H7626 of Israel^H3478 have I made known^H3045 that which shall surely be.^H539

And he said,^H559 Amos,^H5986 what seest^H7200 thou? And I said,^H559 A basket^H3619 of summer fruit.^H7019 Then said^H559 Jehovah^H3068 unto me, The end^H7093 is come^H935 upon my people^H5971 Israel;^H3478 I will not again^H3254 pass^H5674 by them any more.

The best^H2896 of them is as a brier;^H2312 the most upright^H3477 is [worse] than a thorn hedge:^H4534 the day^H3117 of thy watchmen,^H6822 even thy visitation,^H6486 is come;^H935 now shall be their perplexity.^H3998

Her prophets^H5030 are light^H6348 and treacherous^H900 persons;^H582 her priests^H3548 have profaned^H2490 the sanctuary,^H6944 they have done violence^H2554 to the law.^H8451

And^G2532 when^G191 his^G846 friends^G3844 heard^G191 it, they went out^G1831 to lay hold^G2902 on him:^G846 for^G1063 they said,^G3004 He is beside himself.^G3754

And^G1161 as he^G846 thus^G5023 made his defense,^G626 Festus^G5347 saith^G5346 with a loud^G3173 voice,^G5456 Paul,^G3972 thou art mad; thy^G3105 much^G4183 learning^G1121 is turning^G4062 thee^{G4571 G1519} mad.^G3130

and^G2532 with^G1722 all^G3956 deceit^G539 of unrighteousness^G93 for^G1722 them that perish;^G622 because^G473 they received^G1209 not^G3756 the love^G26 of the truth,^G225 that^G1519 they^G846 might be saved.^G3739
